I have used this vet for multiple years, but after Monday I will never go back. At 11:15 I called and explained that my 13 year old dog had been attacked by coyotes and was unable to move, bleeding everywhere. I couldn't move her and was waiting on my friend to help move her. Darlene told me that unless I could get her in in the next few minutes that they would not take her because they had to go to lunch (at 12) but she so "graciously" offered me a 1:15 appointment for my dieing dog. Our Agnes was so sick throwing up and diarrhea both with blood on a Sunday we had to take her to a vet hospital but come Monday she was still very sick.. I called Shelbiana and told them what was going on with her and they told me to bring her on… with in 1day we saw an improvement 2nd day she was able to come home with meds.. the Staff and Dr Thornburg was amazing.. Dr. Thornburg called every day checking on her…I will and have recommended Shelbiana for your Pets needs

I called with a couple of questions about a situation with a dog. The nice lady who answered the phone answered all my questions and did not give me a generic, " You will have to bring him in to see the doctor". It is really nice when someone actually listens to the question and answers the question honestly instead of blowing smoke. Great Job Nice Lady!
