Open Door Preschool depends on tax-deductible contributions to provide families with engaging, high-quality educational programs. Since 1971 we have been fighting poverty and strengthening educational success by providing a high-quality, low-cost learning environment. Tuition does not cover the actual cost to deliver education in our program.
Full tuition for a month is $500, but the average tuition paid is only $350 per student per month. We rely on the generosity of donors to fill that gap. Help us continue to make a difference in the lives of thousands of learners by making a tax-deductible contribution to Open Door. Your contribution goes directly to scholarships for children who qualify.

Services
At Open Door Preschool, we prepare young children for academic success by providing nurturing, high-quality, affordable education in a Christian environment. At Open Door Preschool, learning is focused around age-appropriate themes and experiences. Play is a central component of our curriculum because children learn best when they use their heads, shoulders, knees, and toes to engage their minds.
Through our partnership with Baylor University's Louise Herrington School of Nursing students, our preschoolers learn important lessons about health and safety. Recent lessons include: how to avoid germs, dental health, and everyone's favorite - the teddy bear clinic! Developing literacy skills is critically important for young children.
The most important thing about Open Door Preschool is the care that the teachers show for their students. They communicate with the parents about special days and student progress. I am very content and grateful for Open Door Preschool. Our son has learned so much. He has learned how to share, is very good at writing his name, he can count, knows his alphabet, and has gotten closer to God.
