Licensed through the North Carolina Division of Early Childhood Education, Upper Room Christian Academy Preschool offers children a biblical foundation while helping them to develop both academically and socially. We offer programs suited for toddlers and preschoolers. Our core curriculum, the Mother Goose Time Curriculum, promotes the development of social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language skills.
We believe in the importance of learning through play and discovery, as well as S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics) education. Our daily lessons include both individual and group activities. We also provide outdoor learning spaces that assist with the development of fine and gross motor skills.

At Upper Room Christian Academy Preschool, we are committed to making the preschool application process easy for the parents and guardians of our potential students. To prepare for admissions, you should first contact us to schedule a tour. During your visit, your child will have a chance to become familiar with our learning environment and you will be able to witness our daily routine.
We are delighted that you are considering our school. We would love to take you on a tour so that you can experience firsthand what The Lord is doing in the lives of the families at Upper Room Christian Academy. We offer weekly open house/group tours for prospective families to visit URCA. Evening tours are also available for families that cannot come during normal business hours.
To promote developmental readiness, our toddlers and two-year-old work on the 3 Rs and toilet training; the three-year-olds work on the 4 Cs; and the four-year-olds work on the Hi-5s. We believe that everyone feels better when they have a full stomach. That's why our children are served a nutritious breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack every day.

This review relates to matters of ethics and the lack of empathy.
We have 2 boys who attended Upper Room Christian Academy Preschool in Raleigh, NC. Our 4 year old has been attending since August 2016 (3 years), and our 19 month old has attended since August 2019 (3 months). On October 10, 2019 the daycare contacted me and informed me that our 19 month old awoken from a nap refusing to walk and refusing to bare weight on his right leg. He was ultimately diagnosed with a "toddler fracture."
On November 8th, 2019, we informed the daycare that we would like to file a claim with their liability

We love everything about this school.We took our daughter when she was 4 years old I was worried because she always with me but god is good and it was the best decision.The teachers are amazing I cannot said enough the stuff always make sure you’re good or happy about their service.Summer time they have all kind of activity takes the kids everywhere to have fun To this day my daughter is first grade to another school but when she tracks out she wants to go back to say hi to her teachers and read books to the younger kids,that mean she feels home witch makes us very happy.I really recommend this

I love URCAP from the teachers to the office staff. I have been with URCAP family for 8 years with my twins going here and now my 3 year old son go there as well. They are very friendly and I love the Christian atmosphere, especially during the holidays!! I love how the teachers are very knowledgeable and inspirational!! I would recommend URCAP to other families with young children. God First is a wonderful motto for this worldđź’–

I have worked and volunteered at UR preschool for many years. Every teacher and every staff member that I have encountered have kind hearts and demonstrates the love of Christ in their dealing with each child. I had 3 grandchildren who previously attended UR preschool and I have one who is attending now he has learned and developed much over time in the last year while being a student here. I would recommend this preschool to any parent. The atmosphere is safe and secure, free of fear and conducive to learning all while putting God First.

Not only have I had the pleasure of having one child attend URCA, but two children actually attend. Going to work and starting my day was always a breeze because I knew my children were safe, nurtured and covered. Depature was also made easy because my children readily anticipated being there. Great foundation and solid staff.

I have two children at Upper Room Christian Academy and I am so pleased with the curriculum, teachers, extracurricular activities and administration. There are so many great aspects of this school. First, the teachers really love my children. They communicate with me often to keep me abreast of my child's scores, health and well being. The second great aspect is the curriculum. My children are challenged in every subject and they are expected to do well in every subject, unlike public school. I simply love the free after-school activities: golf, reading club, dance, science club, etc. The best
