Our mission is "to love, serve, disciple, educate, and protect children, through creative and exciting Christian educational programs focused on developing their individual personalities and character, ethics and citizenship values, cognitive skills, and faith". We have worked diligently since 1998, striving to accomplish this mission to the highest degree possible.
In The Beginning is a Christian Child Development Center and Preschool in the North Ridge area of North Raleigh. We partner with families offering a safe and healthy family oriented environment rich in developmental activities to cultivate your child's individual personality and character, ethics and citizenship values, cognitive skills and faith.

Observation, assessment, and communication are an essential part of a good child development program. At In The Beginning Child Development Center and Preschool teachers observe children throughout their daily routines to assess their abilities. They communicate developmental growth through written notes and daily interaction with parents.

Our son has been going here for three years. He loves it. The staff is friendly and kind. He has come home with the ability to state the Lord's prayer, at the age of two - and had a basic understanding of what it means. At three he knows how to count to thirty, knows his colors in English and Spanish.
The staff work very hard on not just babysitting, but educating in a loving and fun way.
