The only thing that this hotel is worth for is the location. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Room is okay. Water pressure is bad and water temperature fluctuates from burning to freezing every 5 seconds. Wifi doesn’t work 90% of the time. Also be aware that they charge $25 resort fee per day for nothing (parking maybe).

What a great place to stay if you bring your dog with you to S. Lake Tahoe. All the staff were very professional, cordial, and happy! Room was very clean and shower had unlimited hot water. Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Decent hotel with acceptable cleanliness. Great location. Shady or incompetent hotel charge practices. They ask for a credit card (for deposit for things like damages, etc.), and this is typically a pre-auth charge on your credit card. However they complete that transaction as a charge and it is actually charged to your account. Either they are incompetent in pre-auth, or they are shady by illegally charging your card.

I wish I could say good things about it. Rooms were ok, they do not look like the pictures and could have been cleaner. Walls are paper thin you could hear everything so won’t get to much sleep on a busy night/weekend. They are pet friendly main reason why we stayed here. At check in we couldn’t get a key due to a power outage so every time we came back to the room we had to wait for a staff member to open the room for us. Annoying but in the flip side they never took that long although standing in 20 degree weather can feel long. Good location it’s across the street from a bunch of restaurants

If you can avoid this place, pls do. The front desk person is super rude when I called to ask them to provide fresh towels after we stay here on the 3rd day. The guy practically yelled at me to ask me to move my car from my parking spot in front of my hotel room. The reason was that their snow plower vehicle needed the spot. Excuse me??????? Why this was NOT communicated to us earlier? And can you be a bit nice about it and than demanding us to move our car right away when it was half covered under the snow at this moment?

Its worst hotel I ever stayed. I paid 4 star hotel's rent(only because pet friendly), got the room worse than one star. The bathroom was so shabby and dirty with no supplier . We paid 2 nights but stayed only 1 night and run away

The hotel has extremely poor sound proof wall. I checked in on 19th dec around 9pm at night and on the same night the room next to us checked in around 2am and we can hear every conversation they made. They woke us up around 7-8am on the next morning.
On the second night, which is today and still happening right now, some other room played loud music and partying loudly starting at 10pm. We didnt make complain until 12am and they are still as loud. We can apparently hear each footstep they make. I dont know if they are dancing or something but they are constantly walking up and down as I typed

Hotel is decent, right near a ton of restaurants. However when I booked, I was given an awesome rate. Apparently they charge an extra $25/night which was not disclosed to me when I checked in, or through my booking directly through the hotel. Upset that it cost $100 more than I booked it for without me knowing, not sure if I’ll stay here again. No where on my confirmation email, or the Wyndham website does it disclose that you’ll be charged an extra $25/night.
***UPDATE***
The general manager reached out to me, refunded the resort fee because it wasn’t disclosed to me. I really appreciate

At first I was a bit hesitant because of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. I understand why people stated that the rooms don’t look like the pictures because they don’t, at least our room didn’t and the water changing from hot to cold was annoying but the location, cleanliness, it’s pet friendly and price made up for it. Also, beds were comfy. The breakfast was disappointing. I personally think the resort fees aren’t worth it because it was (apples, granola and water) in grab bags thanks to covid but overall great place. Walking distance to good food and the lake. The restaurant

Your staff that had checked us in was very rude and unprofessional. She banged on our door like The police, I looked through the peep whole and she was smoking a cigarette screaming open the door. I did not being 1) it was 12:30 at night 2) freezing cold and 3) she was blowing cigarette smoke. I then asked what the problem was? She screamed I received a noise complaint you need to the shut the “eff” up or I will call the police, kick you out and keep all your money. I was so confused. Never have I ever been treated and threatened that way. She was very aggressive and actually quite scary. Larger

The hotel is aged and due for renovation, but the staff is great. Walls/floors are thin. The other guests are long term stay contract workers; loud music, coming in at all hours, talking loud, working on their car in the parking lot. I asked for a different room to get away from the noise and the staff accommodated me no problem. Bring ear plugs. 5 stars for staff! Not so much for the hotel overall.

I loved the location, I loved the staff, I LOVED the memory foam bed, I hated the obviously never cleaned vents and mildew in the HVAC unit, I hated the slight cat pee smell in the room, I hated the beard hairs in the bathroom sink and I hated stepping outside the room and smelling trash from the dumpster. For a pet friendly hotel, there are zero locations to take your dog out for their business. Which wasn't a huge bummer because we walked down a small street to get some sights in.
I come to Tahoe frequently and have yet to find a great pet friendly hotel that doesn't charge you an

We had an opportunity to stay there recently. Rooms were decent and reasonable priced, but we were most impressed with the level of customer service. We had a birthday party there and the hotel staff were very accommodating to us and our party, which made our event very enjoyable. Thank you to all of the staff and management!

DO NOT BE FOOLED BY ONLINE PHOTOS!! My wife and I booked a weekend away. The Hotel Becket looked like an older hotel with a beautiful remodel. This is not the case. It's really hard to find anything good about it. The floors are uneven and change elevations. The main door in our suite doesn't work. The lamps are missing lamp shades. Both TVs are small, and every channel is static. The shower was completely dirty and offered zero water pressure with fluctuating temperatures. The mini fridge didn't work. The AC/heater units in the room are both outdated, loud, and don't work

My boyfriend & I booked this room last minute to celebrate our anniversary. After booking I went to Yelp to read the reviews and there were a few that made me a little nervous about my decision to book here not gonna lie. Everyone at the front desk was very friendly, we did have to wait about a hour to get into our rooms but my boyfriend & I didn't mind because they have a cute bar next door. The bartender & hostess were so nice & helpful with recommendations on where to eat. We even came back to this bar later in the evening .
I didn't see a balcony in the pictures when

Planned a short stay in Tahoe on our way back from a road trip. Found this place on Hotels.com. Their pictures looked good...but were far from accurate. The towel hook fell down as soon as I hung up my towel. The place was dingy, mold in the shower, bathroom counter not cleaned well. Our room had tape over the window because it was cracked. Truly, I am tempted to fight the charge with my credit card company because I feel that their photos are misleading. Everything was falling apart and run down. The only reason I gave it a 2 star was because the location was good. Would NEVER stay here again

First time in Lake Tahoe , No Microwave in the room although clearly advertised . I brought healthy snacks to microwave when needed but had to keep it in the ice box unused . Can't help but feel it's a ploy to get you to eat at their restaurant but who knows . Front desk have some bull crap excuse about the "wattage " I called for towels and more pillows, never came . I had to go the next day and pick them up myself . Lastly, heard this loud clanging noise downstairs at the bar patio at 12 am couldn't sleep . I looked outside to see what was the noise and saw a Xcrows bus

The employees at this hotel especially Jeremy really made our trip amazing. The hotel was expensive (for us), but the bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and well laid out. We traveled with our two dogs and it worked out perfectly. We would stay there again.

No towels and they did not provide any when asked. They said they only had four and was only provided with a hand towel. Was dated but the bed was really comfortable and I slept so good. I usually do not sleep well away from home. I will go back but next time I'll try to get a better deal than $200 a night.

Horrible experience here. We love fire pits and chose this location based on their photo. The fire pit was closed! Then the parking - a dark dirty unsafe deck behind the property. Then the room - after squeezing into a cramped elevator smelling of urine we entered a horrid room straight from Psycho. This was the absolute worst room in our 10 day California special vacation, and ironically the most expensive ($261.50). Then to top it off, they charge a $25 "resort fee" for amenities which were closed or are offered everywhere at no charge. Stay away from this dump.

Don't come to Hotel Becket and assume it's a 5 star luxury resort hotel. This is a humble and updated motel that is conveniently located across from the Heavenly village and gondola so it's ideal for ski activities because you can just cross the street and get in line. It's also across from a Starbucks and Raleys for quick bites and grocery, what's not to love?

I will say that it's not the most clean or swanky hotel but it gets the job done. The first time we stayed they forgot to give us towels. Also it's pet friendly so I do like that.

My family and I stayed here for a night during President's Day weekend. We have never stayed here before, but we wanted to give this cozy, ~slightly~ modern inn a chance!

Finding the hotel wasn't difficult since it's just a short walking distance away from Heavenly Village, but it is somewhat "tucked" away. Just look for the orange doors! When we first came, the parking organization was a bit limited and odd? This is probably because of all the beautiful snow covering the ground, yet it wasn't hard to miss that parking was a slight issue here if you have multiple

This hotel certainly has an amazing location being right on the main street and directly across from Heavenly Village, Starbucks, the grocery store. I do give the hotel kudos for allowing me to adjust my original reservation because of the shelter in place order that hit during my first reservation.

The check in experience was super easy and the associate was very friendly. I did not expect there to be breakfast in the morning so that was a nice surprise. Due to shelter in place it was a grab and go breakfast and there was only housekeeping services when requested. The room was very clean and

Okay I'll say this, I have never complained about a hotel so here we go.

1- By far the worst water pressure in the shower I have ever dealt with. The sink faucet had more pressure than the shower. I have traveled the world and this takes the cake. Mid shower the water changed to ice cold, not fun.

2- The noise was unreal. People allowing their children to do sprints down the hallways. The banging seemed like all night, we thought there was construction but there wasn't. None of the sounds and noise was from live music or the roadway it was the above mentioned that was infuriating.
