We booked for our mini wedding honeymoon. We had a double queen standard room. The first night I woke at about 3am to a terrible smell. I guess my husbands sweat activated some kind of odor that came from the mattress. 🤢 Thank goodness we had another bed we were able to hop over to. I also woke with a sore throat in the morning. As we went to the beach and walked back into the hotel I realized the smell in the room was a must cat urine smell. We were able to leave the slider open and keep AC on to have breathable air. I honestly didn’t complain because it was our special weekend and I didn’t

I visited a friend who rented a room through air b&b here for a couple of nights. The room was nice, everything was clean and well-kept. A block from the boardwalk, convenient to eateries. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony for a bit after some time on the beach. There's a paid parking lot across the street for any additional vehicles.

This place is great. Not fancy but very good. 5 minutes to boardwalk. Full kitchen 2 bedrooms, balcony on one side porch on the other side seating on both. The best part. We booked room in January 2020 for concert that was postponed twice due to covid they called us and rebooked at the original price each time. Check in was smooth and our stay was great. Sat on porch and enjoyed concert and fireworks. Would recommend this place and will return

The pool was really nice and the location was awesome but there were stains on our linens and towels. The toilet clogged multiple times and our air conditioner broke halfway through our week stay. We stayed in the whirlpool unit which the whirlpool was really nice and clean. If it weren't for our AC breaking and the toilet issues our stay would have been pretty perfect.

Older place but clean. Front office staff very nice. 1 block off broadwalk. Parking is an issue. Very small lot. Some parking spots extremely hard to get in & out of comfortably. Pool with hottub attached. No lifeguard on duty. Kids jumping & adults not acting properly in the pool. Cleaning staff just watching saying nothing. We left pool area & never went back unfortunately for the children

We stayed in one of the 2 bedroom suites which is located right off the boardwalk! Its located in a very busy area of rides and boardwalk noise but the walls are so thick I couldnt hear any outside noise inside the suite. Great private large balcony, front porch as well. Good sized bedrooms too! Just make sure to bring your own coffee and filters. Love the location and slept great. I would recommend for families!

Everything was great until the end of our trip. We had the “Do Not Disturb” on the door the whole trip, and our last night money was stolen from our room. I was asked if it could of been misplaced or dropped somewhere AFTER I told the guy that the money was what was left in our envelope, and at the end of our night when we were putting what we didn’t spend back in there we noticed the money was gone. So, no. Couldn’t of been lost considering it never left the room. I recommend if you plan to stay there to take a lock box and keep the key on you, because the safe was broke and even if it

My wife and I stayed here from Sunday to Tuesday in mid May, still pretty off-season. The motel wasn't crowded so parking was easy. Check-in was easy. We had booked direct through their website for the cash rate, but they will the reservation with a credit card. We stayed in a Whirlpool Room, which was a good size for two, with a king size bed, whirlpool tub and stall shower. Everything was clean and relatively new. The bed was comfortable. We never tried the tub, but it looked clean and well maintained. The location could be a downside in season. Our room was at street level, right next to the

Absolutely horrible. I would advise everyone to steer clear of this hotel. I honestly don't know how its even still in business. First, walking into the hotel smelled like someone was smoking a cigar all day, but there were "no smoking" signs. We get into the room and there were no security locks just a top and bottom to the door. I looked at the fridge and even though it was making noise it was on 9 and still not cold. I put already cold food in the fridge and it got warm. My girlfriend went to the front desk to let them know it wasn't working and said he would be up, so at this point they didn

Was in Wildwood NJ for the 1st Annual East Coast Music Hall of Fame Gala. Stayed at Riviera Resort & Suites and will not stay there again. Stayed for 3 nights and no one ever came in and cleaned, made the beds, offered a change of towels. They don't have hand towels! The AC kept shutting off while we were gone and when we came back, the room was hot. I had to go to the local Wal Mart to buy a hair dryer. There weren't many electrical outlets for phone chargers, newly-bought hair dryer, etc. The one mattress support looked like mold or 'something' brown on the 2 lower

This place has become our family tradition vacation place we always get the apartment which is well equipped and the have a great Webber grill. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The pool is very nice it's a decent size for the size of the hotel. My only complaint is that they don't allow night swimming. The location is right next to the boardwalk. We will keep coming back till the kids get too old for this.

TBH, most people have said what I'm going to say here so I'll keep it short. Frankly, this motel doesn't have a lot going for it. It's location is awesome, a short walk to the boardwalk, Adventure Pier, Doo Wop diner, water parks, and more, However, everything else was poor.
The "sofa bed" wasn't really a sofa bed, just a nylon sofa with removable back cushions.
The A/C didn't work well and we weren't even allowed to adjust it beyond a few degrees.
The suite was rather small and certainly could not fit the eight adults it advertised, AND we had to

The positives: location is great (right across from Adventure pier, and mere steps from the Doo Wop diner). Friends of ours rented the two-bedroom suite, which included a full kitchen, and said kitchen was adequately stocked with cookware to make it useable. The living space was on the small side but after all it's Wildwood. Overall, nothing about the Riviera was enough to stop us from having a good time, so there's that (and the reason this is a two-star review instead of a one-star review).
The negatives: hoo boy.
Amenities: We stayed in a one-bedroom suite with sofa bed. Sofa bed

Check in staff, friendly, efficient. I didn't wait at all. I was on second floor with a balcony towards the street. Room was clean, two queen size beds, comfy as well. The pool was chilly not bc of resort but bc of recent weather, hot tub was awesome. Very close to boardwalk and four blocks north of convention center. One block off boardwalk. Excellent location for the family. Enjoyed my stay look forward to revisiting

The front desk staff were very friendly upon arrival.
The motel was a block from the boardwalk which was a big plus. The rooms were pretty clean for the most part. However, one thing I often look for when booking a motel is a heated pool. I somehow overlooked that, but the pool was freezing cold (to me). Also make sure you bring cash when checking in, there is a key deposit that must be given at registration. Also the wifi was pretty slow.

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. When we checked in the room wasn't done (we were early so it's understandable). We went to the beach and came back and the room was very clean and smelled great. The only issue was the wifi was really slow/not working. I'd definitely stay there again.

We paid extra to stay in a jacuzzi suite - water ran YELLOW for the entirety of our stay. Front desk said that even though we paid extra to have that particular amenity there was "nothing they could do"... EXTREMELY disappointing considering the room was over $200/night.
This hotel is close to the beach and rooms are typical of Wildwood. Relatively clean and in working condition... but before you book be sure to consider how OK you are with showering in rusty water...

Do NOT stay here. The rooms do not lock and take up two hours of your night to get fixed when you pay to enjoy Wildwood. Also their "whirlpool" is advertised. It's cold. No hot tub. False advertisement gets you no where in Wildwood. As people who frequent this town.... Do NOT stay here. Stay at Kings Inn in N.Wildwood.

NOT WORTH PAYING $300.00/ night. Not at all what was advertised on "Booking.com". Their service was not up to par. WiFi does not work. Rooms haven't been updated since the days of Scarface!!! We needed to ask the front desk for everything little thing from the hair blow dryer to the TV remote which we ended up finding under one of the beds. They take advantage of their clients because of the proximity the hotel has to the boardwalk. Mind you, there are other hotels around that seem far better and nicer. If the Yelp app could give its users the possibility of rating placed with negative

Pros:
-Great for families with small kids.
-Located in the middle of the boardwalk.
-Seems very clean-however! i found a rather large spider on top of my bag the day i was leaving. - this is noted in the "con" list.
-It is private owned so they make their own rules, and there are A LOT of them. One of them to remain quiet after a certain hour but another is the crazy early pool hours
-has a stove/fridge and large bathroom
Cons:
-Not so great for those in the mid to late 20s looking to have fun
-Pool hours close early so you cannot enjoy the pool after you spend the day on the beach

Just got back from a three-night stay.
the good: very pleasant front desk staff. The location is the best. Pin-drop quiet at night (they don't put up with partying teenagers). Missing TV remote was rectified within minutes.
the bad: not enough parking for all the cars for all the rooms. They own several properties that all share a common lot. people have to block others in to get a spot. Weird.
Really pricey.
A/C is so loud you have to shut it off to use the TV.
Hours of pool are too restrictive. would have been nice to use the pool at midnight if i wanted to (there is never a

My husband and I stayed here when we took a weekend trip to WildWood, NJ. We went while we were engaged. He has been to WildWood before but it was my first time experiencing this place. We had a great time and this motel was a great help in setting the atmosphere. The staff was great during our check in, they told my husband where he could park the car they gave us wonderful suggestions for some nice local meals. Our room here was nice and private and pretty big. We had a bed, a couch, a mini kitchionette so I could make myself some coffee, a closet, a television. The bathroom had a Jacuzzi and
