I moved into an apartment owned by this company in 2017. The first month I paid rent, their office claimed to have lost it. If I hadn't been able to provide proof of purchase (check receipt), I'd have had to pay them again. When I came back up there to straighten it out, the property managers were EXTREMELY rude to me, and it had been downhill since. People inviting themselves in with zero notice, unbelievably rude customer service, threatening emails IN ALL CAPS OR RANDOM WORDS IN CAPS, rent raises in the middle of a global pandemic despite gradually worsening conditions. Look, I know it's a cute apartment for a good price but DON'T DO IT.
This property is ran by a gaggle of ragamuffins. The emails make no sense and are full of typos and random capitalizations. Once, I asked for an exterminator to come after I saw a MOUSE and ROACHES in my apartment with CRACKS IN THE FOUNDATION and I was told no. In fact, I was told that I complained too much and that I needed to stop requesting maintenance. I guess they believed reporting black mold, broken windows, and a broken dryer was excessive. After I expressed how desperately I needed an exterminator come to my apartment

I’ve had a great experience with this company. Terri responded to emails extremely fast. I love my apartment! Very great price, no signs of rodents or bugs. My building is smaller and I have pretty nice neighbors.
Update: After living in my apartment for a year now I’ve still had a very positive experience. The maintenance responds very quickly, and is nice. I’ve only had to ask for them twice. They keep the heat nice and warm during the cold months. I haven’t seen signs of any bugs or rodents, the worst thing I had to deal with was gnats during the summer.

The apartment looked nice when I moved in. The landlord failed to fix a leaky roof that messed up two of my mattresses. Also failed to inform me of the mice infestation in the building , learning from my neighbor that the guy before me moved because he had two cats and still couldn't get rid of the mice.

I lived on Main St. In OTR in a Gorgeous deluxe apt. That was very reasonable living for the area!
I had a huge beautiful courtyard that was private to tenants.
Maintenance staff was excellant to deal with & always was right there to fix any issues going on. The owner takes priority on all of the properties & always helpful in any situation.
The apartments are very well insolated & I could hardly hear any street noise on a very active Street.
I highly reccommend Symphony Property management to anyone considering to rent from them!

The company doesn't care at all about their tenants. I had a leak in my apartment on Terrace ave for 9 of the 12 months of my lease. When they finally got around to "fixing" it, they just re-plastered the wall so the next tenant would have the same issues. Every time I called the office they would never pick up and would never return a call. Terry Talon is a terrible landlord. There was also a major roach issue in the basement.

Do NOT live in this apartment complex, or any of the complexes owned by this property. They are mold/bug infested, and the owners will not properly clean the unit before you live in it. All of their units are disgusting, and me and a few other people had to have the lease terminated early due to how bad the conditions were. The owner remains MIA and will not explain to you their wrongdoings either. Before I could even return my keys, the property had cleaned out my place and then blamed it on me - by not giving me back my security deposit - even though the unit was still mine and I still had to
