Our office remains open but we are making changes in appointment flow for your safety and the safety of our staff. We continue to work by appointment only. After arriving at your appointment time, please call from the parking lot to let us know you have arrived, and remain in your car without entering the building.
Patients will be checked-in outdoors by a staff member and only pets will be brought into the office as needed for treatment while pet-parents remain outdoors. For medication and prevention refills, please call ahead to have it prepared for you, and call when you arrive to have it brought out to your car.

Services
Warrenton Animal Clinic is a privately owned and operated veterinary facility. We are located in beautiful Warren County, in the rural community of Inez, with plans to move to a new building in the town of Warrenton in fall 2021. We offer wellness and surgery services for dogs and cats. After-hours and weekend emergencies are referred to Wake Veterinary Urgent Care at (919) 266-9852.
Whether you have a concern or a crisis with your pet's health, or it's simply time for an annual routine check-up, our doctors are here to check your furry friends from head to tail. Most states within the US require a certificate of health completed by your veterinarian prior to interstate transportation.
We will do our best to accommodate your requested day and time, and will offer other comparable appointment times if your first choice is not available. If you are requesting an appointment for a patient that we have never seen before, please submit a new patient form as well. Late Fee (arriving 30 minutes or more later than your scheduled appointment time) = $15.00.
We love meeting new friends! This pet will be added to your existing account with us if you have one, or we will create a new account for both you and your pet if this is your first time with us as well. Pet Information (If you have multiple new pets, please submit a separate form for each pet). Breed (for cats, you may use Domestic Short-Hair, Domestic Medium-Hair, or Domestic Long-Hair if breed is unknown).*
Your pet needs to be kept warm and quiet. Isolate your pet in a dry, warm, quiet place where it will not be allowed to play or jump. Your pet cannot go outside without an adult and must be kept on a leash for 7 to 10 days after surgery. Keep your pet away from children and other animals. Your pet cannot play, jump or run because stitches could give way, causing severe pain and additional surgery for your pet.

Beautiful veterinarian practice tucked away on beautiful farm land owned by Dr Chris. The staff is very friendly, and courteous. They will handle your pet with care and explain prices and treatment plan in detail. It’s very beneficial, and financially important for this practice to offer low cost spay and neuter program, this helps both the residents of the county and the animal community. We know there are a lot of animals without homes already.
This vet practice operates differently and you will need to call and leave a message for an appointment. They will return your call in a timely matter

With Covid restrictions, have not ever actually met the Vet, but everyone we have met are very nice. My dogs aren't hesitant about going in with them at all. Called in about Slash hurting her leg and limping, and they saw her that day!!! They also gave her the scheduled rabies and bordatella shots a little bit early so we wouldn't have to take her back for another visit. Pleased with them!

Our pup hurt his leg, cracking his dewclaw, while we were on vacation. Full disclosure we have used this vet before and really liked them. We were taken in as the first appointment after surgeries were finished for the day! The visit took 15 minutes and we were provided pain management. The pain management made a huge difference for our dog. Excellent service and terrific value. Thank you for your prompt help!

We have two English Bulldogs and a Belgian Malinois. Completely different dogs and the Bulldogs are some very maintenance intensive dogs. I will NEVER go to another vet. Warrenton Animal Clinic is the best I’ve ever been to. A real small town feel where they really care about my dogs. Dr. Amy is the best! My big boy, Balboa, always has skin issues. Dr. Amy put us onto some great shampoo and after just one bath his skin is softer and fir is smooth. We can’t thank you all enough.

This place is great. The lead technician Morgan Tyler was absolutely amazing and I couldn't ask for a more caring person to have by my side during those troubling times. If it wasn't for her my business would go elsewhere. Thank you Morgan for all you've done and continue to do. We love you.
