The basic Military Funeral Honors (MFH) ceremony consists of the folding and presentation of the United States flag to the veterans' family and the playing of Taps. The ceremony is performed by a volunteer group of veterans known as the Honor Guard. Your funeral director will contact and coordinate with your local honor guard to ensure that your veteran is buried with proper final military rites.

My mother Alice Henchcliffe Heiser passed away 11/11/2007. Everything was perfect. The viewings were held in the pink floor lamps room. I rearranged the chairs a bit and that was OK with them. The funeral went smoothly and the procession went past her home and Midthorne park that mom helped get started. Everything was fantastic. Unfortunately I cannot say the same for my dad's funeral, it was screwed up.

I have used Bruzdzinski three times now and have been very happy with their services. It's family owned, good parking and very convenient from RT 702 and the beltway. My mom looked as if she was sleeping which I think may be the best compliment to give them. All funerals cost way too much but their services are more affordable than many. I would only suggest that the flower cards not be removed because I like to send specific thank you notes.

I'm always amazed at how caring they are and sensitive to everyone's needs. Never more so than when my grandaughter's baby McKinley passed away. SPECIAL THANKS TO MICHAEL
