Services
Eleanor and Raymond Kaczorowski established the Kaczorowski Funeral Home, P.A. in the Highlandtown/Canton Community in 1952. Currently in its third generation, our family owned and operated facility now serves a wider area with our Dundalk Avenue location. Local ties and relationships allow us to provide your family with services that only a family owned funeral home is able to provide.
I have grown up with this funeral home. I have always been involved in some way; whether it was cleaning the funeral home or cleaning the cars. I have also grown up with the people. They are neighbors and friends. I started my apprenticeship with my father in 1969. After attending Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, I was licensed in 1973.
A service provided that includes a cremation service with private identification of your loved one. Bringing your loved one into our care, Service Charge, Service Vehicle, cremation container required to transport your loved one to the crematory, crematory charge. They can be but are not limited to: Certified Copies of Death Certificates, and newspaper notices.
Bringing your loved one into our care, Service Charge, Dressing and Casketing, coordinating with cemetery to schedule the Burial, use of Hearse, and use of Funeral Director and staff for the burial. They can be but are not limited to: Certified Copies of Death Certificates, Clergy/Church charges, newspaper notices, and cemetery charges.
We are more than happy to offer Green Burial to our families should they request it. Green Burial can be fulfilled in any cemetery that allows the casket to be lowered directly into the earth without the use of a grave liner or vault. To find out if your cemetery will allow for Green Burial you can contact the cemetery directly or we can reach out to them for you.

Kaczorowski did a wonderful job for my mom's funeral. They made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. It was also nice to have one person to deal with to answer any questions and to guide us along with way during this difficult time. They even made a recommendation for pre-planned funerals which will take the burden off of family left to make decisions. I highly recommend Kaczorowski.

I have unfortunately had the experience of being here too much in the last few years. It's tough to be positive during such a negative time but this funeral home deserves it. One of their staff members Julia has honestly done everything in her power to make it as wonderful an experience as possible. She showed care and compassion every step of the way, treated each person as if they were members of her own family, and truly comforted us all in our time of need. It is apparent that her and the rest of the staff take great pride in their work and that to them it is far more than just a job.

The Kaczorowski Funeral Home was there in my time of need first with my father and years later with my mother. They are the most understanding people to deal with in your time of sorrow and grief. They have a beautiful facility and a wonderful caring staff. They offer competitive pricing but even more then that they give it that personal neighborhood touch. I would highly recommend them to all of my family and friends. They get a 5 star rating from me.

I had my dads funeral services here and to me they're the best. So kind, compassionate, understanding and lots of empathy! I have been here several times for other visits as well and this place is always cleaned to me! Great job Mike to you and your staff. I would highly recommend you to everyone I know!!

My grandmother funeral was held here last year. The staff was very empathetic and caring. They took care of everything so we didn't have to sweat the details during that difficult time. We had compared prices to several funeral homes in the area and they were very reasonable. I also like that it was family owned.
