At Wildflower Preschool, we foster the child as a scientist; always experimenting, exploring nature, testing their hypotheses and continually molding their view of the world in which they live. Our teachers enrich the environment daily to encourage child-directed exploration and sensorial learning.
We establish daily home-like routines and incorporate gardening, cooking, art, free play, nature walks, and quiet-time in order to bridge the child's transition from the home to school. Our Student/Teacher Ratio is currently 6:1, 7:1 or 8:1 depending on the class, which allows for superior learning and quality of care.

This is a second location which actually shares space with the New Church of Boulder Valley, but are NOT affiliated with the church.
Our daughter is currently attending Pre-K at this location and we could not be happier. She attended preschool at another school from January-May and it was a complete disaster.
The entire staff at this location and the owner/headmistress, Amy, have been simply amazing. I just can not say enough great things about them.
For example, we went to pick our daughter up the other day and they were playing outside. My daughter was a little sad to leave and wanted to keep

We LOVE Wildflower! Amy and her staff are loving, compassionate, educated teachers who support and challenge our child to grow. While at Wildflower, our daughter has grown both in her understanding of basic educational concepts like letters and numbers, but also in her ability to interact socially, manage transitions, develop relationships, and be part of a group. We can't say enough good things about what goes on every day at Wildflower.
The Wildflower curriculum includes both free and directed play, and the children are encouraged to explore sophisticated topics in science, art, language

Wildflower Preschool is an exceptional, outstanding school. It is definitely one of the best preschools in Boulder.
I have been an early childhood teacher for 12 years and seen nearly a hundred preschools, including many private Waldorf, Montessori and Reggio Emilia-inspired schools. Wildflower is one of the best schools I've ever seen.
Wildflower is a beautiful integration of Reggio Emilia (with a curriculum and methodology similar to the Journey School of Boulder), Montessori, Waldorf and other progressive, holistic education philosophies.
The director is thoroughly devoted to providing
