I have started to dismantle my vegetable garden and once again I am amazed at the amount of plant life I remove from the garden.
What starts out as barren soil turns into an amazing amount of food and nourishment that feeds us for months. There is something so rewarding and deep down enriching about harvesting your own food and creating limitless menus from what mother nature produced in my backyard. Next year I am going to plant an Apple orchard behind my garden and continue to develop this land as time goes on.

Acclaimed physical therapist, yogi, and beloved teacher, Harvey Deutch, P.T. has been merging the art and science of yoga and physical therapy for 40-plus years, exploring and perfecting the nuances of each. After graduating from the Physical Therapy program at the University of Vermont, he moved to California and practiced for six years in Los Angeles, before moving north to San Francisco in 1987.

Harvey is the teacher of yoga teachers, and he is a master of it. He trained dozens of PTs and MDs on how to do a better job as well as lowly yoga teachers like me. He know so so much, and has an answer to every issue. He would never harm a student, and he really cares. He is the very best. He has taught me more than dozens of other teachers combined. Go to his yoga class, go learn from him, and expect huge results from him as a PT in one visit if you do the follow up work he suggest.
