Services
Dr. Doubek is a 2002 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She purchased Northwest Veterinary Hospital in October of 2006. She enjoys raising labrador retrievers and Russell Terriers and has been active in dog showing and pet therapy since 1991. She has 2 sons, Ethan and Quinn.
Urinary Problems (Incontinence, Urinary Tract Infections and Crystals/Stones in the Urine). The biggest compliment we can get from any client is the referral of their friends, family and neighbors to our hospital. Because of this we offer special incentives to both our potential new customers as well as our referring clients.
There are many reasons pets, both young and old become ill. At Northwest Veterinary Hospital we understand your worries about a pet that just isn't himself. We have state of the art in-house diagnostic equipment and testing allowing us to quickly determine what the problem is. We can run blood work, many more specific tests and perform ultrasound and radiographs as needed.
Whether your pet has an injury or illness, diagnostic imaging is of utmost importance. At NWVH we have a new Fovea digital x-ray machine that allows us to take 95% of our radiographs without sedating the pet. The images are viewable in less than 3 seconds, not waiting for a film to be processed. Using patience, positioning aids and a gentle touch we are able to get the best quality radiographs available anywhere in the area.
Some pet owners don't realize the importance of pet dental care in keeping their pet healthy. Nearly 85% of pets over age four suffer from periodontal disease. Periodontal disease damages teeth and the supporting structures that keep your pet's teeth in place and healthy. At Northwest Veterinary Hospital, we value education of our clients very highly.

I just have to take a minute to talk about Dr. Pam and staff. My little chihuahua is very anxious and can be a lot sometimes. When we got her spayed, their WHOLE TEAM was there to listen and calm her. The vets techs are the best out there. I don’t understand how they can ALL be so nice and comforting. Not only did I put my dog though a lot of stress that day(outside issues), they understood. When I picked her up, every tech had a cute story about her from the day. EVERYONE. I don’t think you find this everywhere. They knew I was nervous and so was my little girl. Do yourself and a favor and
