Stag is and always has been associated with the Owner, Maria. Where ever Stag Goes, Maria Goes. It is not a Franchise or a Chain. Maria is Stag Hair Care. There once was 3-5 others in the shop at Northgate, but not anymore. Although, she does have one other stylist named Cassie, she has her own busines within STAG Called Hair By Cassie.
Cassie is amazing with Women's Colors and Cuts, while Maria specializes in Men's Hair Care, she too does women's hair cuts and occasional colors and perms but has very little time for it and will need special consultation prior to any chemical service. Walk-in's are few and far between, you are lucky you can get in unless you wait for a small window.

Just went in today and very happy!
The owner operator Maria has been at it for about 30 years and after sitting in her chair you can tell. She took her time, listened to what I had to say and provided some great suggestions, end result was fantastic! A bit disappointed I didn't look any younger but I guess thats a different chair!
Besides that she has a great personality and conversation was refreshing. Give her a try!

Nice lady, bad haircut, twilight zone customer service.
Got my haircut here for the first (and only) time a couple weeks ago before a trip. Asked for the standard 'guy' haircut. #3 on the sides, short finger length up top.
Polite chit chat, wanted to offer me a beer but was out, and generally a positive experience. I have really light hair, so it's not uncommon for a barber to miss a few fly hairs, especially when I'm new to them. So, when I got home, I noticed a lot of random hairs sticking out. Went back the next day to ask her to fix it...and that's where the twilight
