Heidi Armstrong is a fantastic resource for athletes struggling with an injury or the recovery process. Based in Austin, TX, but treats clients from around the country and internationally. Working at a computer work station all day can take a toll on the body. Repetitive activities and lack of mobility can contribute to aches, pains, and eventual injuries.
How do I begin attending physical therapy at Quantum? Texas is not a direct access state, so you must first obtain a prescription/referral for physical therapy from a physician. If you recently visited your doctor and have a prescription/referral just bring it with you to your initial evaluation. The referral/prescription does NOT have to be specifically for Quantum--any referral for physical therapy can be accepted at any clinic.

I love love love these people! I've been here for around a year...I think. I started walking in the door barely even able to move some days. I'm not feeling stronger than I have during most of my adult life. Sarah and Brenda are seriously amazing PT's and Peter rocks all things scheduling, insurance, and general keeping the place going. I feel blessed to work with individuals in a small practice. Before them, I went to a place that was very large and was always pawned off on an assistant and spent very little time with the actual PT. Not here!!! At most the PT might be working

I've been seeing Brenda for about 3 years now for a number of ongoing pains (knee, shoulder and back). I tried multiple other therapists but always felt most confident with Brenda. She is very knowledgeable and professional and always lays out a clear plan of attack. Office visits are always time well spent. I love that visits are almost always one on one. And I go home with exercises to do on my own. Scheduling time away from work is hard for me but she has been flexible so that I can get my visits in each week. I had a friend injured recently and I passed on Brenda's name. Happy to

As a PT myself, I can sometimes be critical of how other establishments are run. However, I recently needed PT and can definitely recommend Brenda. She is creative with exercises, is knowledgeable and thorough, and I only work with her (no techs walking me through exercises while she treats other patients). She has a specialization in orthopedics and the location is convenient (3rd floor but elevator available) with an added bonus of free parking. I recommend her and the clinic if you need physical therapy!

Dr. Walk is an expert diagnostician who gives 100% to the quality of her clinical care. She has extra credentials, several years of experience and excellent rapport with referring physicians. She understands people and motivates different kinds of patients to achieve remarkable goals. I find her warmth, her personality and the sincerity of her commitment to my well-being very supportive and very helpful. She established Quantum as a fresh attractive gym that's a pleasure to go to. Highly recommend!!!!

I've seen Brenda on and off for two years now for a chronic knee problem and she is an excellent Physical Therapist. She helped get me back to doing weight training and being as active as I wanted to be! She is all around one of the best PTs I've ever had and you can trust your physical care with her!

Dr. Walk is amazing! I am a lawyer with a very sedentary profession. I started experiencing low back pain, and I was recommended by a doctor to go see Brenda. She is sweet, funny, but most of all extremely knowledgeable about her craft. She was able to educate me about what exactly was causing my pain and how we could work together to alleviate it. I will give most of the credit to Brenda because I am admittedly terrible about implementing her sound advice when it comes to the homework-- but despite how stubborn and uncooperative I was as a patient at times, she was able to help me live pain free

You are in good hands with Quantum PT! Brenda Walk and Jonathon Schetzsle are knowledgeable, thorough, and friendly. They take the time to hear your concerns, answer your questions and develop a treatment program that will work for you. Whether you are recovering from a major injury or addressing more chronic issues, they will help you get to a point where you can feel and move better and then give you the tools the maintain that. They were patient and informative in explaining and demonstrating exercises. I always felt like I had good understanding of why I was doing what I was doing. My low back
