Dr. Van Sicklen graduated from University of the Pacific Aurthor A Dugoni School of Dentistry in 2011. He then entered a residency program with the Veterans Administration Hospital in Memphis TN. Here he was trained by specialists in the surgical and reconstructive disciplines necessary to help reconstruct and rehabilitate our veterans.

Dr. James is amazing dentist. Clean and very atmosphere clinic and the stuff are all very nice and friendly. I have a great visit, I use to get scared to see a dentist but with Dr. James he has a gentle hands and really a good dentist doctor. God blessed him.

Many years with VS and never a bad experience. Just the best around, that's all. Dr. Jim and Dr. Charlie, father and son duo, are the nicest people, incredibly knowledgeable, efficient, kind, and always willing to offer explanations and answer questions. It doesn't matter if it's a cleaning, filing, crown, implant or anything else, make this your 'Go To' practice.

Dr. Van Sicklen, is—in my opinion—the best Dentist in Stockton, CA. There are several reasons that make his Team the Gold Standard in providing dental care: compassion for his patients, office staff who are able to somehow work a patient in (same day) if there is a dental issue, hygienists who have been on the Team for many years and know each patient and, more recently, extensive infection control standards. The most compelling reason, however, is that Dr. Van Sicklen takes the patient’s entire medical history into consideration when he treats a patient.

The staff is, even in these difficult times, 100% professional. A good, reliable dentist is hard to find. I prefer to drive over an hour and a half to see Dr Van Sicklen rather than trying to find a new guy closer to home.
