Petra has been in the dental field for over 30 years. She has been a long time resident of Paso Robles. A graduate of Paso Robles High, she has been serving the community in this practice for over 20 years.

A malocclusion is an incorrect relationship between the maxilla (upper arch) and the mandible (lower arch), or a general misalignment of the teeth. Malocclusions are so common that most individuals experience one, to some degree. The poor alignment of the teeth is thought to be a result of genetic factors combined with poor oral habits, or other factors in the early years.
Orthodontics is a specialized branch of dentistry that is concerned with diagnosing, treating and preventing malocclusions (bad bites) and other irregularities in the jaw region and face. Orthodontists are specially trained to correct these problems and to restore health, functionality and a beautiful aesthetic appearance to the smile.

Both my husband and I have had bad experiences here and would not recommend going as we both have been left with issues caused by this practice that will need to be resolved elsewhere. I went in for a couple simple fillings and now I have been seen by them 3 different times with pain in the areas that never went away. The last time I was there to try and get the issue resolved I was told that he didn't see an issue and he didn't know what to do! Lansford Dental is the absolute BEST! After I completed chemotherapy, I was searching for a dentist that is well-versed in all of the complications that arise after treatment. You'd be surprised how many dentists don't possess the knowledge or know-how to address cancer patients' teeth issues. I made a 3+ hour drive to be seen by Dr. Lansford, and I'm so glad I did! Dr. Lansford repaired my chipped front tooth today, and now it looks perfectly normal and natural. He is an artist when it comes to teeth! I cannot say enough great things about this practice and its people. They are professional, kind, courteous, and excellent at executing the finest dental care. My latest example: I recently had to have one of my front teeth extracted and prepared for an implant. Dr. Landsford made me a 'flipper' --a fake tooth on a retainer, to wear until my mouth heals well enough to install the implant. This review has to be based on my most recent experience from over the years. I have never been a big fan of the dentist. I think the majority of people aren't. That being said, I have to admit that this most recent experience was a good one. The staff here have always been very friendly. That's always a plus. I came in for an exam, X-rays and, a cleaning. That's nothing unusual. What really made me happy with my experience was my dental hygienist named Barb. Everyone at the office was very nice. Thankful they got me in and took care of me as I had a very painful tooth going into the weekend. Dentist was really good about making sure I wasn't going to be feeling pain as he pulled my tooth. Also it's been a long time since I've been to a dentist as I'm usually terrified and most places shame you for that but no one said a word they just took care of me and scheduled me back for a cleaning. Dr. Lansford and Dr. Karanian are exceptional dentists. When our pediatric dentist moved away a few years ago, we decided to have Dr. Lansford see our son and Dr. Karanian see our daughter. They have been so great in every way. They are kind and gentle, very attentive to detail, actively listen to my children, and they have to be the best educated dentists in our county with all the ongoing education and training they receive. So... I've been meaning to write this review since 2012! Sorry I'm so late! I was visiting Paso Robles from Orange County and called this office (and many others) in a hysterical panic after falling and badly chipping my front 2 teeth. Every other office was very rude to me and didn't want to see a new patient on a Friday afternoon. The staff at this office was SO understanding and so nice! Despite a full schedule they told me to come in anyways and the doctor would fit me in so my vacation wasn't ruined. The office was so nice and so was doctor! Dr Jeremy fixed both

My wife and I both go to their office. As much as I try to avoid the dentist the experience has been exceptional. I get seated promptly and my dental hygienist Lisa was extremely professional and diligent. The deep root cleaning was effective with a very low pain level. Both Dr Jeremy and Dr. Jennifer are meticulous about dental care. Glad we found them and as they are in their mid thirties, I'm sure they will be here for awhile.
