An initial 6-8 week commitment toward weekly therapy is recommended. Therapy is a process, and just like a gym membership or physical therapy, an initial commitment from the client is essential for progress. This will serve to establish the therapeutic relationship, identify therapy objectives, and building a firm foundation of skills for the client to begin using independently.
