Edd Stanimer is kind and caring. Given that my father passed away while I was in Switzerland, he bent over backwards to make sure that my family and particularly my needs were met by going out of his way to organize a private viewing under extremely tight time circumstances so that I could say goodbye to my father. This appeared to be impossible given the distance and all of the challenges with COVID, but he made it happen. And for that I am extremely grateful. Further, he was very personable and comforted my mother during this difficult time. She felt that my father was left in good hands, which

Edd Stanimer worked with my wife and I during the most difficult time in our lives with the loss of our youngest son, Ennis. Edd was thoughtful and caring throughout the process. At no time did we feel pressured into any decisions and every step was done to meet our needs. There were many perks during the viewing and funeral that were done by Johnston & Stanimer that will help our son continue on in our memories and those of our friends and family. Most wonderful people to work with when dealing with the loss of a loved one. I recently lost my dad and had the pleasure of working with Edd Stanimer long distance to get all the arrangements taken care of for my father's cremation. Not only did Mr. Stanimer go above and beyond to help my mother and I out with this whole process but he did so with respect to us. I highly recommend this funeral home to all. My mom and I had an appointment that we weren’t really looking forward too, making plans for after she was gone.
Edd Stanimer was very friendly, open, and inviting. The meeting we were dreading turned out to be not as bad as we thought.
Edd has a very inviting space that’s more like a home than a funeral parlor. He had everything on hand that we were interested in and even allowed my sister to be involved through FaceTime.
When the time came sooner than we all thought and wanted he was very professional and very helpful. Returned my call within minutes, and went out of his way to deliver

Edd was professional, responsive, and compassionate as he helped my family deal with the cremation of our 95-year old mother. I particularly appreciated his willingness to go beyond the call of duty in promptly facilitating my request for additional documentation necessitated by transporting my mother's ashes out of the country and having to comply with the destination country's laws. I recommend him without reservation.

I highly recommend Johnston And Stanimer Funeral Home for your loved one. They took care of my husband as if he were family. We were treated with the utmost respect. Ed is a Godsend. I have never met a more compassionate, professional man. Every little detail is taken care of, even the ones you would never think of. He went above and beyond to honor my late husband and to ensure my family was completely taken care of. I cannot say enough about this place and the honorable people that work there. Our father recently passed away. My family was very pleased with the services provided by Johnston & Stanimer Funeral Home. Edd Stanimer met with us and provided excellent guidance regarding all aspects of the services. The funeral home produced a photo/video tribute to our father. The tribute was beautifully done and captured the essence of our loved one. We received many compliments. Edd demonstrated exceptional professionalism.
