Services
Dr. Jennifer Iannaccone grew up on Long Island and graduated from Rocky Point High School. After receiving her Bachelors Degree from Virginia Tech., she spent one year as an Americorps*VISTA volunteer, serving underprivileged communities in Connecticut. She received her veterinary degree from Ross University after completing a year of clinical rotations at Purdue University.
Many dog owners admire the unique looks and personalities of purebreds, but also worry about the fate of millions of pets euthanized each year. What many people don't realize is that there are specific breed rescue organizations for almost every breed of dog, placing dogs in need to new homes. We have two cats and we have been taking them to wooded acres for few years and never had a problem.
Wooded Acres Animal Hospital has served the Middle Island area and its pets since 2006. When veterinarian Dr. Jennifer Iannaccone or Dr. Kelly Garrison makes a recommendation for your pet, you can be sure it is the same recommendation we would make for our own animals! Both doctors and all nine members of our staff are animal lovers.
Did you know that fleas and ticks can attack your pets whether they're indoors or outside? Although you can get affordable tick and flea treatment at Wooded Acres Animal Hospital, prevention is always better. Prevention will keep your pet from getting itchy bites, keep these insects from setting up camp in your home, and even keep your pet disease-free in the long run.
Fleas and ticks can cause tremendous discomfort and even sickness for your pet. At Wooded Acres Animal Hospital, we believe prevention is the best policy and can help you keep pests away from your pet as much as possible. Flea and tick prevention will keep your pet comfortable and healthy. Fleas and ticks breed in warm environments and usually make their habitat in tall grass, under bushes, or in other areas of the garden or yard.

I was an emergency client. They fit me into their busy schedule. The personnel are friendly and courteous. Very understanding in my trying circumstances. Diagnosed and fixed my "baby". I would highly recommend them for your veterinarian needs.

I don't know how I overlooked this vet office when I live only 5 minutes away but I am glad I found it now. This office quickly and painlessly accommodated my two newly adopted dogs. They are extremely affordable and this is now my new go to vet for my pups.

Dr I has been treating Spike since he was 9 weeks old! He is now 10 years old and just as happy there as when he was a pup. Everyone on the team is friendly, caring and helpful. They all love Spike and make him feel special whenever we are there for a visit!

My dog was sick and they said she had a urinary infection, but she only got worst and they changed her medicine only for her to go down hill fast and end up having to be put down! It turns out her spline ruptured and she was slowly bleeding internally and eventually to death that they did NOT pick up on! I lost my baby, my lil girl just 6 years old , and a week before she was perfectly fine!!! Yeah right, Great vets!!! Then they charged me full price for the service and the cremation but sent me a tiny bundle of flowers with they’re condolences!! THANK YOU FOR NOTHING!!!!!

We have been taking our dogs to Wooded Acres for over a decade. We found them after our prior vet diagnosed our dog with terminal cancer without even offering a biopsy. We took her to Wooded Acres for a second opinion. They performed a full workup and it turned out to be benign. They truly care for their animals and the families. I have moved a half hour away and still make the drive because of the quality of care they provide. I highly recommend Wooded Acres.
