We're dedicated to providing the best veterinary care for small animals in Oak Ridge, Oliver Springs, Coalfield, Wartburg, Clinton, Kingston and Harriman! This mission is reflected in the skill and compassion our doctors and staff use when handling and treating your animal companions. Our facility is clean, well-equipped, and accessible-but never stuffy or cold.

We'll work hard to maintain great communication with you by providing clear explanations and consistent follow-up, which is why we have so many loyal clients who would not bring their beloved pets anywhere else! We want to be your veterinary professional when it comes to your pet's health and happiness!
Services
Tri-County Small Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital with a pharmacy, on-site digital x-ray capabilities, a surgery suite with state-of-the-art technology, and a supervised recovery area. Our highly trained, compassionate staff support our outstanding licensed veterinarians. Our practice spans a wide range of small animal patients, including dogs, cats, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, ferrets, sugar gliders and rabbits.
Annual exams are your pet's first line of defense. Tri-County Small Animal Hospital's comprehensive annual exams include checking their overall health by taking their temperature, examining skin and coat, lung and cardiac function, internal health, oral hygiene, eyes, ears, and demeanor.

Keeping your canine or feline up to date on vaccinations is a highly effective way to prevent many common diseases and infections like distemper and deadly rabies.Beyond those core vaccines, your pet's age, lifestyle, and likely exposure to certain diseases will be evaluated before we recommend additional shots.
Dental care is so important to your pet's long-term health! We recommend annual dental cleanings and offer full dental services, including exams, cleaning and polishing, digital x-rays and extractions. Three levels of complete dental services are available. All levels include a physical exam, pre-anesthetic blood tests, heart monitoring while under anesthesia, and antibiotics; levels 2 and 3 are more extensive.
We are proud to offer a full range of surgical services from standard spaying and neutering to highly specialized procedures in our state-of-the-art surgical facilities. Our veterinary team will walk you through the entire process, giving you the tools you need to make informed decisions about your pet's treatment options.
When quick diagnostic results are needed, we can run a variety of tests right here at the clinic. This includes complete blood counts, general chemistries, electrolytes, and some urine and fecal tests. Heartworm and fecal tests can tell us if parasites are present, and blood screenings and urinalysis tell us how organs and systems are functioning.

They are really great people at Tri-county. We are new in the area and I had to bring both my dog and cat in and they were able to fit me in as soon as possible. Very caring. Gave me an itemized bill so I knew exactly what the charges were for. Always friendly.

Since bringing my 1st x ever owned rescue puppy in 1993, after newly residing from out-of-state; I have continued to use this practice over 14 yrs., amidst relocations both in & out of the state/area. I continue to return to their care, concern, & compassion. The Dr.'s & staff have seen me thru my mother/son duo of 16 & 15 yrs., respective dentals, numerous boardings, to the euthanasia a yr. ago of my 12 y/o rescue, to the existing care of his 7 y/o remaining rescue "brother." State-of-the-art equipment & ongoing veterinarian education current practices I have always found here. They GO THE EXTRA

Nice place to take your fur baby. They really care and it shows. New to the area and had a great visit with my dog. Not all vets are the same. This is one of the good ones! Will use them again in the future when needed.

My Maltese/poodle had an itching issue. I live in Harriman and the veterinarian I use was booked so I checked with Tri-County. They could see him. I was impressed with their facility and the thoroughness of the exam. Most impressive was the written summation of the visit supplied by the Doctor. I am considering changing to Try-County even though it will take me an extra 20 minutes or so to travel.

I had a very sick bunny and couldn't find anyone to help me immediately. I called and the sweetest lady said she would call me back after talking to the vet. I kept calling around & the soonest anyone would see us was 2 days later. TriCounty called me back and basically asked how fast I could get there and fit us in at 4pm! Everyone from the front desk on through was AMAZING! They even laughed at being covered in rabbit floof! My bunny was very relaxed with them despite not being well too. I'm happy to say Athena is feeling much better and is back to her Diva self! (And it wasn't horribly expensive

We took our baby Cat Possum there since he was sick and not getting any better. The Doctor and staff were wonderful making us feel that leaving our baby with them was the right thing to do. Anyone needing help with their pet should know that this hospital and staff were the most professional and caring. Thank you to Dr. Osborne and her wonderful staff.

I have always received great service here. Everyone is always kind and caring especially with my Lucy (pit) that may not be so friendly back.
