It actually represents the continuation of a tradition of high quality, compassionate animal medicine started in the summer of 1998. Since then, the doctors and staff have changed a bit, but the same attitude of devoted care at country prices persists. We are a rural practice with a relaxed attitude.

We keep a clean facility and an advanced surgical suite with modern diagnostic equipment allowing full service health care for your animals. In 2008 we opened a satellite clinic in the Norris area, directly across from the Museum of Appalachia.

Certain illnesses have had such a catastrophic effect on lives that there was incentive to create vaccines to stimulate the body's immune system so that it is prepared if an exposure to the actual infectious agent occurs. It's kind of like not just having a gun (your immune system) but having it drawn and aimed at the attacker (vaccine stimulated immunity).
Whether CO2 Laser or "cold steel" it is important to know when and how to approach surgical problems. Surgery is one of the skilled portions of a veterinarian's duties. All veterinarians are trained in basic surgical skills in medical school, and others continue to gain experience, expanding their abilities and thus the opportunities to help their patients.

I am so grateful for the Norris staff who made it possible to get our Yorkie-Poo, Zeus, in for an emergent appointment on Saturday. He was suffering from horrible allergies, scratching himself almost… constantly, and would cry out from the discomfort. His eyes were very swollen and red. He received a Dex injection in the office and some tablets to give him for follow-up. Within 24 hours his symptoms were relieved and he was a happy dog again. Thank you SO much for seeing us and treating him!! Everyone there was so friendly and caring. We truly appreciate all of you!! Five stars, most certainly

I've had my animals as patients of Dr Will for my years. He is very knowledgeable, understanding, caring, and loving with my pets. We work together to give my dogs the best healthy life they could have. He takes the time to answer questions you my have. He works with you on the best medicine. He does act like you don't know anything. He listen to you. He understands we are with our pets 24\7. He is the BEST. Sandy Irwin
