We've been going to McArthur Animal Hospital since we moved here in 1996. Our fur babies passed away and hasn't been back in a couple of years. We decided when we got our new puppies to go back, and we are so… glad we did. The staff are friendly, helpful, and really cared about our pooches, and us. Dr. Paul is truly amazing. We recommend their services for any of your pet needs. Bert and Ernie, our Decker Terriers, loved them as well. ❤😎

I have been going to McArthur’s since I was a kid. Having 2 dogs and five cats, McArthur’s has been helpful and kind.
Dr. Paul is very knowledgeable and helpful, has always shown my dogs kindness and patience.
Dr. Kennedy routinely saw my cat through kitten hood and was very knowledgeable and sweet.
Angie has always the sweetest on the phone.
The assistant, Taylor, is often there and very nice to me and my animals.
They have been very lenient through family emergencies and sickness where I could not make it to appointment times.
The office is always clean, and I am able to come during

I have tried on three separate occasions to get a same day appointment for one of my cats. Each time they are unavailable to see them. If I call for a last minute appointment the cat needs to be seen same day. A routine check up I am happy to wait for, but not for a last minute in my opinion needed same day visit.
From now on I will go directly, at my convenience, to the Emergency clinic on Kingston Pike just off on Pillissippi Parkway. They provide emergency care and will take care of pets whose owners cannot get appointments In a timely manner elsewhere. The number is 693-4440 .

I'd taken my cat 5 times in the last 2 months for the same issue with no prognosis.
Mutliple duplicate tests were ran from 3/13 to 4/26 until the decision was finally made to make a referral to a specialist for an ultrasound 4/26.
He advised me nothing could be found, nor what they were looking for.
She was too sick to get a prognosis without hospitization, by the time Dr. Paul put in the referral.
The hospital informed me her vitals were off, when I had just taken her for a check up and outpatient support the day before, 4/26
What was checked? What exactly did I pay for with all of those

I am so appreciative of Dr. Paul and his staff. We moved here in December 2019. Our sweet Lilly had extreme kidney issues on the day we were moving in. So not knowing anyone to ask; we just picked him because… we drove by there on our way home. Thank God we did! He helped us keep Lilly comfortable and assured us that our decision was the right one. It's never easy losing our furry babies. If only they lived longer. Lilly (age 9) passed on March 5th 2020. As of now our Big mama Roxi almost 14 is having what we hope is inner ear infection and not a stroke. Dr. Paul made us feel as ease leaving

These wonderful veterinarians saved the lives of our foster neonatal kittens a couple of years ago! We were in their office three times a week a couple times and they always took care of us as if these struggling kittens were their only patients. Taylor, their vet tech, was the bomb diggity! We also use them for our personal kitty cats because they… are able to administer the “cat-specific” rabies vaccine they had been given at our cat-only clinic in Destin, FL. They are always kind, professional, loving and caring. They will do anything they can to help your fur baby! Dr. Paul

My first visit! The staff was very attentive. I enjoyed meeting other clients who I identified with. They had wonderful things to say, which, of course was very good to hear! Our kitten Commander Fred needed a lot of attention and they didn’t seem rushed at all even though they were very busy. Looking forward to future visits.
