Services
Edgington Funeral Homes are owned by Craig and Sonya Edgington. Craig has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 1985 and was involved in the family business many years prior to start. Craig and Sonya are carrying on the rich funeral traditions handed down to them by the late funeral directors- Donald E. Edgington, Joy I. Fisher, Lionel Rhoads, & Gleason Roberts.
Craig Edgington has grown up in the funeral business. He started helping his father, the late Don Edgington, in the 1970's. A graduate of Hillsboro High School, he also graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.
Craig is very active in the community having been involved with the Hillsboro Rotary Club, the Wilmington Kiwanis Club, the Highland District Hospital Foundation Board, and the Highland County Health Department Board to name just a few.He and his wife, Sonya, care for our area families with the most compassionate care.

Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members.
The Goods and Services below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you make will include a charge for our services. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
These packages that have been highlighted are by no means all that we offer. These packages are designed to give you an estimate of the costs incurred. When we meet with you, we will custom arrange a funeral service just right for you and your family--creating in essence a unique Legacy of Life Memorial Celebration.

So grateful to the Edgington Funeral Home for taking care of our mother’s visitation and funeral service. The care and attention they gave us during such a difficult time was so comforting. Every detail was considered and taken care of so our family could focus on the grief and loss we were experiencing at the time. We truly appreciate all they did to give our mother a beautiful service.
