Broken glass in the room (which I found only after stepping on it barefoot), the bathtub/shower had water back up immediately upon use which smelled of sewage, the food we ordered at the resort restaurant tasted so off, I returned it after the first bite and waiters response was “oh yeah I should have told you not to order that” — why is it on the menu if it is spoiled?!
Me and any wife came here for our honeymoon and left immediately the next day to go to the doctor to get glass out of my foot and get medicine to help with the food…
For a room that +$600 a night this was such a costly

A nicely laid out resort with access to many amenities. Most of those are free for guests... Which is great! This place is very good for families in terms of fun activities onsite and within easy distance outside.

Good except I had to move my family at 11PM on a Thursday because of a noisy family that moved into the room directly above us at 10:20 and proceeded to make considerable noise far beyond what is normal at that time of night. The front desk was unable to resolve the situation and I personally went to address the racketeers, to no avail.
I was given 2 choices. Move my family or deal with the noise. The hotel ended up comping us $50 which I felt was inadequate for numerous reasons on which I will not elaborate. Once again the stay was enjoyable except for this one snaffu but it did leave me unfortunately

This place advertises itself to be a "resort" when its actually condos, owned by people they rent out. We paid almost $500 for a one bedroom unit and we chose this place over the Sanibel Inn which I loved last time as I thought they would provide more service, not the case. There is no service, the coffee maker in the room was broken, the coffee was disgusting, it comes with powdered creamer, even motels offer a better selection for coffee. The room itself was musty, extremely outdated and had my family all coughing the first night we were there. My daughters allergic to mold, and has been sick

Rented a room through Airbnb.
The room had ants at check-in and the front desk was notified multiple times via phone and text. They did send someone the first day (could only tell because our blinds were closed when we got back from the pool) but did not see any traps set.
The ant concern got worse but we were not offered a room change -we were only staying 2 nights. I spoke with the front desk in person at check out and was blamed for ant issue - they accused us of leaving food out even they ants were present at check in. No compensation or apology was offered at check out.

Oh my where to begin! I worked with Lavender and Francesca and they were both so great to work with! Coming from Iowa, I had lots of questions and they were both so quick to respond via email or phone to any questions or ideas I had for the wedding. They were so flexible and helpful when I would change my mind and through all the stress and craziness weddings bring, Francesca helped alleviate so much of that. The rehearsal space they set up for us was so beautiful or guests couldn’t stop gushing about how it looked like a wedding reception. When the wedding reception had to be moved indoors,

We are staying at Sundial East condominiums. The condo is beautiful and spacious with direct access to the beach. The grounds are lushly landscaped and very well maintained. This is the perfect place for an island getaway!

Best place if you have children. Several pools, kids activities all day, on the beach. All the condos are different. Tiki bar and restaurants are great! We have been 3 times and 2 times got rooms with no cable and very old furniture etc. It would be nice if they required owners to update every so often. Otherwise a great place.

I was pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Sundial Beach Resort. My fiancé and I came for my birthday weekend because all I wanted was a relaxing, quiet birthday and staying here was just that.

When we first arrived, I was hungry so the nice bartender helped get a quick meal even if it was almost 10 pm. When we got to our room, we were extremely pleased with our apartment with a kitchen, living room area, dining area, balcony, and room. The space was clean and prepped for us to have a relaxing stay.

The next day, we decided to eat at Turtles. The food was quickly served and the drinks

We stayed at Sundial in Sept. 2021 for our anniversary and overall we had a wonderful experience!
Pros: The staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Their pool and hot tub were wonderful, the free chairs and beach umbrella were fantastic, and the poolside restaurant was delicious. The room was modern with all of the amenities we hoped for, and even the shampoo and conditioner from their spa was fantastic. We got daily texts of activities happening at the resort and loved being able to walk to everything we could possibly need. As this was our anniversary trip, the staff even greeted us

Our son took us to Turtle's Tiki Bar at the Sundial Resort & Spa for lunch. We sat poolside and had drinks, appetizers and three entrees. We were having a pleasant afternoon and enjoying our conversation. Food was mediocre. When we were finished, my son didn't even ask for the check. He just took out his credit card and gave it to our waiter. The payment was processed and the waiter was tipped over 30%, as my son manages two restaurants in NYC and is aware of how COVID has affected the restaurant business. As we were leaving, a female waitress, who did not even wait on us, came

They use the word resort loosely. We stayed here on our honeymoon and paid extra for an "ocean view". While we could see a sliver of the ocean through other big buildings, we were in a condo in the back of the complex near the road.

The worst part of our outdated room was that our bed was like sleeping on a 2x4 covered in paper. Every time we moved the sheets would crinkle and wake us up. When we told the manager she said there was nothing they could do. I guess all of the condos are individually owned, so which room you get is a toss up.

The only reason I even give it more than 1

Beautiful spacious suites, so much fun for the kids. Immaculate and clean. Everything you could hope for a vacation, be it family or friends or couples getaway. They really cover everything. It's paradise without having to leave the country. Pools, beach, shelling, games, sports games, entertainment, pool bar (that is very efficient, you're never waiting in line long). Just so many amenities, too little time. All staff is friendly. If you have any issues in your room or need extra towels they are very swift to fix it. Covered parking is a bonus. I can't get enough of this

So to start off, we were so excited to visit Florida. We usually go to the Caribbean yearly but because of covid restrictions, we chose this resort. As soon as I walked in our room I noticed it was just okay. Nothing special. They did fulfill my requests for a room with a washer and dryer and upgraded (for the most part).the beds were terrible, the pillows were terrible, the floors were so dirty our feet were legitimately black from the layers of dirt and was never cleaned from the floor. Sand/dirt are two different things. They had to come 3 separate times to clean the floors and they still were

If you have kids, this is the resort for you. While I understand we came down during spring break.... but holy moly screaming children by the pool. Frozen drinks were fantastic and the bartenders were very friendly. Really enjoyed people watching at the walk up bar. Guest didn't really wear mask or social distance. Free bike rentals were awesome! The beach was gorgeous.

I really could not have asked for a better vacation experience. From the time I booked my stay 2 weeks before arrival, Andréa in reservations was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I was able to get a 3 night package for a great price for this time of year and especially accommodating when I extended my stay one extra night. My room itself was more than a room - it was a 1 BR apt with a very nice and cozy bedroom and some high quality finishes. It felt just like home. The recreation staff was super helpful getting me a bike and towels every morning, and bingo on the deck at 3:30 (with a chance

The worst resort ever. Honestly racist. Do not recommend.
They segregate who can and can't come to the main pool area based on where the room was booked through. They let other owners say they are part of this "resort" but they are not. You won't know until you get here but you are not welcome

This was my first stay at Sundial and everything has exceeded my expectations! My 2 bedroom is clean, spacious, modern.. the staff is helpful and friendly.. Bailys General Store has everything you may have forgotten and is the most amazing little shop located within a resort that I have ever been to. There is constant cleaning and maintenance on the property like paint touch up and cleaning of the grounds yet you don't notice because of the efficiency. I have stayed at South Seas Island Resort in Captiva but must say that Sundial takes the cake. It is also a very fun and safe resort

It is about 3.5 stars for this resort. We have the Florida Residence discount during our weekend stay. The full price is a bit expensive including the resort fees. This is a inclusive resort. It has bicycle, kayaking, paddle board, umbrella and chairs and more. One thing for sure they can help on pleasant stay is to load and unload the equipment to the sea. Their kayak is heavy to move. They are not light weight. Tower is available on the counter.

The room and compound is nice. We have a one bedroom suite. The room has tv, kitchen, sofa bed and more. Room is clean to our knowledge. Our room includes

I think this is the best resort on the whole Sanibel Island. It is beach side and has so many activities for the people staying there or just visiting from outside( we visited it for couple drinks and beach side activities).
They have a pretty cool pool with small private cabanas where you can sit and enjoy the time. They offer a lot of amenities to their customers including:

-Jacuzzi
-Full Service Spa & Hair Salon
-Cabanas
-Beach Chairs, Towels, and Beach Umbrellas
-Onsite Bicycles, Kayaks and Paddleboards
-Water Sports Options
-HydroGrid Tennis Courts
-Beach Volleyball Court
