It's hard to think of a better beach front place to stay on Sanibel. My top floor Gulf view room, although quite pricey, was beyond my expectations. Amenities abound including breakfast, kayaks, bicycles, a nice pool, beach chairs & umbrellas. Gotta give a shoutout to receptionist Laura who epitomizes what a professional guest services person should be. Lastly, the inn is well-maintained and my room was fastidiously cleaned.

Filthy accommodations. Overpriced for the areas and for the amenities. Breakfast served was promised to be delivered to our cottage, instead it was in the lobby was bagels and pop tarts. Yes, our bagels were moldy.
We specifically booked here after taking twice with a member of the staff about the cottage we wanted closest to the beach (for our paddle boards) and we were told we had that spot reserved. It was confirmed and That is why we paid the price we did - to insure we had that spot. We were not given what we reserved and had been promised.

The grounds are beautifully maintained. The gulf front cottage was not gulf front, you could see the water out your window if you stood on your tippy toes. The beach is just a short walk away though, which was nice. The cottage had out dated battered rattan furniture. The kitchen was poorly equipped with an electric stove that had crooked elements, which made it almost impossible to cook on. There was no bakeware, so I could not even try the oven. The kitchen counter tops and sink are all very outdated. The “beach” cottage is carpeted! Yuck! The bathroom sink had green crud on the sink handles

First this is the lower end of the 4 resorts. The pool was small and just older. The room was older too and the headboards were filthy with hair and dust. The rest of the room was decent size but just real old and dim looking. Considering that it faces the pool, you would think it would be brighter. Bathroom was decent size. At night, there is no one around and if emergency, who do we contact? I received a text late night advising that if I had questions to text the number but when I did inquire as to the complimentary breakfast, I received a text next morning telling me it was at the front desk

Seaside Inn was the perfect getaway for me and my three kids after a difficult school year. The proximity to the beach was fantastic and I enjoyed shelling most mornings around sunrise. The facilities were clean and well-kept and the employees were all fantastic. Thomas at reception was very helpful and welcoming. The kids loved being able to go swimming almost everyday and enjoyed using the pool noodles and floats that were provided. Breakfast was great and the amenities (i.e., sand toys, beach towels, on-site laundry machines, free parking, etc.) made our stay easy and enjoyable. We hope to return

Stayed here for 5 nights in late May and everything was perfect! The friendly staff was always helpful and available to make suggestions for places to go and restaurants. My kids enjoyed the pool and the easy access to the clean beach was unbeatable. The room was older but clean and well taken care of. Housekeeping is only once every three days but that wasn't a problem (this may have been due to COVID) This motel is located right along a bike path (there are bikes you can use at the motel along with paddle boards, kayaks & shuffleboard) The motel sets up chairs and umbrellas at the beach every

We have been here several times. Very quaint and old Florida. Very nice grounds and pool. Short walk to the beach. They have raised the prices quite a bit since our last visit. The room was nice, however, there are fixtures that need replaced. Including out tub. They provide a breakfast box, but the quality of some of the items was not the same as before. Very good staff overall. Jeffrey and Gail especially. We would think about staying here again, although its not cheap.
