Based out of beautiful Bellingham, WA, inspired by love, nature, and travel, I document the beautiful things in life. Known for being optimistic, collaborative, and detail-oriented, my passion and focus is to bring your vision to light. With over a decade of experience and photographing professionally since 2011, my journey began by valuing impactful imagery and the drive to capture the images and feeling of people, experiences, and landscapes.
My own wedding experience was amazingly beautiful and it inspired me to become a photographer. I love capturing the natural moments of joy, happiness, and love that can be felt for years to come and I'm honored to have the opportunity to provide you with these beautiful memories. I watch for laughter, tears, and connections and take special care in documenting the special relationships of your loved ones celebrating with you.
My husband and I absolutely love Jamie V Photography! She made our day very special and our photos are beautiful; we have gotten so many compliments! The earlier the better! In order to provide the best service to my clients, I only photograph 4 to 5 weddings a year. As a former bride-to-be myself, I understand how important it is to find and trust someone who shares your style, vision, and vibe. I know that you'll have a lot of questions and I'm more than happy to answer them for you.
My photography style is considered lifestyle, which is capturing natural, real-life interactions, with a combination of candid and a few posed images. I will photograph your connections, emotions, expressions, and snuggles so that you can remember how you felt during this time in your life. I photograph on-location, primarily outdoors, in beautiful, natural settings.

We loved working with Jamie! She was our wedding photographer and took family photos for us recently. Working with Jamie is great because she is very organized and makes you feel really comfortable. She listens to you and makes great suggestions. Our daughter takes a while to warm up to people, but Jamie was able to get great pictures. We highly recommend her!

I can't recommend Jamie enough! She shot our photos at the end of summer, and she chose the perfect locations at Artist Point. She knew exactly where to go and how to position us that caught the best lighting and flattered us. The entire experience was fun and enjoyable, and I'm blown away by our pictures! We've received so many compliments. Definitely work with Jamie if you need photography!

Jamie is wonderful to work with and takes amazing photos! She did our engagement session and our family wedding photos and both turned out beautiful! She was really easy to communicate with and was very flexible when it came to plans changing multiple times due to Covid. She is very professional and does great natural photos that don't look staged.

Jamie's photos are gorgeous! She is a professional every step of the way, from helping you plan your session to the final editing process. She was able to capture our families different personalities, and even get my wiggly son to smile at just the right time. She listened carefully to what we wanted out of our session, but also added in great ideas for shots I would have never thought of! We have already used Jamie's services more than once, and look forward to working with her again.

Jamie was amazing! She had a peaceful presence throughout the shoot while keeping us moving along/organized/etc. She captured exactly what we were hoping and beyond. Her editing made all of our images light/crisp/and just all around beautiful. We chose her based off of her portfolio and didn't know anyone that had used her since we don't live in Bellingham and in the end, we were so thankful that we came across her! Jamie is absolutely INCREDIBLE and so talented! She captured our love and personalities in her photographs so perfectly!
