Peter James offers a complete collection of royalty-free Northwest Stock Photography. He travels Northwest Washington extensively photographing landscapes, lifestyles and landmarks to create both this library of stock photos and his gallery series. Peter James' Northwest Stock Photos are shot with business and editorial use in mind.
Peter James Photo Studio and Gallery is located in the Orca Building in Historic Fairhaven of Bellingham, WA. The gallery is open 11:30-7:00 Wednesday - Sunday and photo shoots are available by appointment Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. When you move away from Whatcom County there are outdoor adventures you will miss. For us that adventure was skiing at Mt. Baker. My husband and I chose this photo as a reminder of the many days of skiing Mt. Baker POW. Thank you, Peter, for helping us find an image that brings back such great memories. Peter is an incredibly talented wedding photographer. I was so happy with the photos he took for my wedding! Not only were the photos amazing, but working with Peter was such a pleasure. He really took the time to talk to us to figure out what was most important for us on our wedding day. Peter was totally unobtrusive, which was very important to me...yet managed to get such personal shots. He was also amazing a crowd-wrangling, and did everything with a great attitude and personality. He really added to the joy of the day, and created memories we'll have forever!

He captures the most flattering angles and takes time to ensure you’re satisfied with the shot. He’s also super encouraging and friendly. Plus you get to… enjoy his incredible photographs while you wait, landscapes of the PNW in his show room. All of his shots are incredible and vibrant. I highly recommend him and his artwork! Photography services keep getting better and better. Peter has provided my professional photos since 2006 and this latest batch was the BEST ever! His new photography studio is totally cool and outfitted with the latest equipment. For a woman of a certain age, getting my picture taken is a little sensitive. I have admired Peter's photography for as long as I have known him. When he started offering his Metal Prints I absolutely had to have one. If you have visited his website or his gallery on Holly Street you will know exactly what I mean. It's like being outside when you can't be. But how to choose? He made it easy - he can use Photoshop to place… his photos into a picture of your wall, so that you can see exactly how it will look. Foggy Autumn Trail is now hanging in our office in a previously blank space. It's like looking out a window. Breathtaking. I get so many compliments. Lightweight
