Ran-Tech Engineering & Aerospace, Inc. is a Woman Owned NW Business with a quality system 3rd party certified to AS 9100 Rev. D ISO 9001:2015. Located just outside Portland, Oregon, Ran-Tech manufactures sheet-metal and precision machined parts and assemblies. With our dedicated team, we utilize the latest technology, equipment and methods in manufacturing precision, high-tolerance, components and assemblies.
We process Aluminum, Steel, Stainless, Nickel based alloys, and Titanium in our sheet cutting machines. We use waterjets, lasers, and high speed routers to achieve best in class cut to meet customer specifications. Mitsubishi, Flow, Thermwood, and Haas are some of the equipment manufacturers at our core.
We specialize in forming sheetmetal parts to tight tolerances. Parts ranging from very small up to 10 feet long will fit into our CNC press brakes. Complex forming is achieved using Ran-Tech built custom tooling either in our stamping presses or hydroforming equipment. 5 axis CNC drill and trim mixed with ingenious 3D printed jigs and fixtures enables even the most complex sheetmetal details and assembly.
We were early adopters of 5 axis CNCs. Along the way we have developed a high proficiency in complex parts with difficult features and tight tolerances. Our Mori Seki NMV5000 delivers these results with ease in a fairly generous envelope(up to 10,648 cubic inches - roughly 22" diameter by 22" tall).
Internally, we have a state of the art liquid coating facility with a forced drying enclosure. This allows us to quickly apply most Aerospace liquid paints. Through our trusted supplier partners we provide anodizing, chemical conversion coating, plating, powder coating, laser marking, silk screening, shot peening, and more.
