I would not recommend this business, I had a very disappointing experience with them. In late 2019 they installed a new furnace in our attic, which worked for a little while, but stopped heating sometime in Jan or February. It needed a new part, a wand like device that heated the air. By the time they a new part and installed it, several very cold weeks, the heating season was over. When it started to get cold later in the year, we cranked up the heat, it worked somewhat, but not as it should have, in retrospect. Then I got a $550 gas bill, which got my attention. We've been using My Guy Heating and Air for several years now and highly recommend the maintenance service provided by MG and especially our current technician, Jared. I read the reviews, so thought I was safe hiring them to fix our AC in a rental in So Cal as we live in Montana.
Took a few days to come out, but it costs $415 for a starter for the AC. My husband was not home so I was not sure, but I found out this is double what they should cost. When my husband questioned him he mentioned the call took 2 hours. He was there for only 30 minutes. I was very disappointed.

I’m very happy with my guy heating and air. I bought a new unit from them last year after my old unit from 20 + years ago finally quit working . The team is very professional, from the front office to the techs who install and do repair. They do a great job . If there is ever any problem they are on top of it and easy to contact . If you are looking for an affordable, honest, and amazing HVAC company, look no further than My Guy. They were the first to come out and give us a quote on a new furnace, AC unit, and all new ducts in the attic. Victor was fast, efficient, and COVID safe. Because I like to be diligent, I proceeded to get 4 other quotes. And I kid you not, three out of the four told me something different about the way it would work. 100% recommend this for any heating or AC issues. Finally, a company who really looks after their customers. They have at least two of the best service tech in all of San Diego county. CJ and Gerrard (hopefully spelled correctly) really made sure everything was running again and kept the cost down. That really means a lot when you have an unexpected bill. These guys are outstanding from beginning to end. We needed a new 3-4 ton A/C system. The entire process from estimate to installation is handled meticulously. Kudos to CJ, Caleb, and Tim for making everything so seamless. Office staff was also very helpful and accommodating. Estimate with options is explained in detail, installation has all protections in place (drop cloths, shoe floor savers, masks) and is done neatly. Friday Aug 21, we had a new furnace installed My Guy about 11/2 years ago. The A/C went out yesterday, and we called and much to our surprise we got an immediate appointment with Scott. What a pleasant experience. Scott was professional and answered all our questions. He trouble shot The problem and made the repair quickly. It seems that at the time of installation a drain line did not get cleared. Scott cleared the line and checked out our entire system at no charge. My air con was a mess, the previous owner of my house did a lousy installation of a new unit.Not just I couldn't replace the filter as the access was blocked but the void space underneath the unit was a health hazard bringing all kinds of debris and dust towards the vents.They were easy to communicate, friendly, reasonable prices, on time and finished the job requested correctly.

If you're looking for a/c service, look no further! My Guy is one of the companies I contacted after I saw all the amazing reviews and I was not disappointed. First and foremost, the customer service is what stands out the most. I am glad they were able to make it out on a Saturday at no additional cost. They make sure to give you a courtesy phone call and e-mail the day before your scheduled appointment. Then, the technician also calls to give you a more exact ETA on the day of.

I first heard about the company while listening to a radio broadcast on 1210 am. I was one of the first five callers so I got an initial inspection price for my 30 year old unit that had never been serviced! Then when Brad showed up at the door I was greeted with a smiling, polite, curteous gentleman who immediately put on disposable shoe covers.… He won my heart in that instant.
