Oak Hammock Animal Hospital was founded as Anderson Animal Clinic by Dr. Wendell "Doc" Anderson and his wife Rosalyn in the mid 1980's. Although it started as a small, two-room clinic, the practice grew continually over the years as Doc Anderson gained a reputation for being a caring, trustworthy doctor for Sebring's pets and farm animals.
Heather loves having the opportunity to interact with pets and their owners, and also get her puppy fix, without having to take them all home! Speaking of home, she has 4 pets herself, including 2 Boston Terriers, Stella and Ruby and 2 horses, Annie and Emma. She loves seeing the bond between clients and their pets, who view their four-legged companions as true members of the family.

This is hands down the best vet in Highlands county. My dog was having an emergency with an unknown allergic reaction and I called every vet in highlands county and none if the others even bothered to help me instead just referred me to other vets in winter haven. Not only did they squeeze me into their busy schedule but the staff was highly professional and quick to help and the other huge bonus was that everything they did for her was so reasonably priced. If you go to another vet be prepared to be let down.

Friendly , Caring staff, I had to put down my baby 😞 the staff was supportive, sympathetic gave me as long as I wanted w her and made the situation dignified. Great pricing and flexible ways to pay. I received my paddy’s remains quickly and all my wishes full filled. Made a really awe full situation a lil better to go through pics I’m adding is of my Paddy I miss her terribly..

I am relatively new to the Sebring area and took my kittens in for new kitten shots, which I was lead to believe included a rabies shot. The first appointment cost over 350 dollars. When a woman brought the kittens back to me, she apologized for the cost and said the next one would be close to 75 for each cat. Well, the next appointment came and I was charged over 250! When I complained, I was told they didn't know why anyone would have told me 75 for each cat. I refused a third appointment with these dishonest people. I am now getting ready to have the cats spayed/neutered and needed a copy

Took my dog in for possible mange. Dr. Henry Thomas and Vet Tech Aaron did an awesome job of examining and handling Katie. Turned out she doesn't have mange but a bactertical skin infection. They did a Skin Cytology test and prescribed antibiotics. We were seen right on time. Dr. Thomas answered all our questions. Very professional staff. Would recommend this office for veterinarian needs.
