School is okay, as I did go there to learn karate. But there are some sanitary issues in some places (ie. the floor, the bathroom, the lobby, etc.) The floors especially are REALLY dirty sometimes. Sometimes after belt tests (when people break wooden boards to go up a belt), they don't vacuum the floor right away. So one time when I went to the school for my lesson, I left with a splinter in my foot. Also, Mr. Sherman was a GREAT instructor, hands down, but in certain lessons I went to he spent most of the time talking with the other adults in the class, instead of teaching karate.

The best American Kenpo Karate school in the world hands down. I got my 1st and 2nd defree black belt under Mr. Sherman. I know the guy for almost 20 years. He is a true example of what a true teacher mentor and coach should be. Kind, patient, funny, strong as a tree trunk fast as lightning and just a very knowledgable individual. Prices are super affordable, private lessons are available as well. Highly recommend this school.

The finest sensei and a great place to learn. Mike Sherman has integrity, he offers endless encouragement, and his knowledge of multiple martial arts is impressive beyond my words to express. I've trained under him on and off for over 40 years...because he's the best.

Mr sherman and all other instructers are the best they are awsome with the kids I would definatly recommend everyone to send their kidd there they are amazing and I love how they treat every kid equally no matter what color the belt amazing would like to say thanks to the whole team there

Sensei Mike Sherman kicks butt! Along with 4 of my kids, we have been students of Mike Sherman for almost 20 years now. He is patient, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun to learn from. He is one of those genuine people who possess both the field experience in karate and excellent teaching skills. I have earned my black belt from his school and my four kids are each one belt away from doing the same. I would highly recommend American Kenpo Karate to all of my friends.
