Bushido Kai America
Judo is the second most participated in sport in the world. It has been an Olympic event since 1964. Judo is a scientific study of how a smaller stature person can overcome the greater size and mass of a larger adversary. Judo becomes an art form when classical techniques are adapted and modified by an individual.

Skills taught here include throws, pins, submission techniques and RESPECT! The original club moved several times until settling in Penfield, NY, with the Penfield Recreation Department. It is still active today. Sensei Livergood moved to Michigan in 1993 and established Bushido Kai America. A couple of years later moving to Ohio.

The new school is at 25666 north Dixie highway, by Levis Commons. John is amazing! His technical knowledge is immense, and he is the nicest person you will meet. He is cross fit certified, and just won a world championship in Jiu Jitsu! If you have any interest in learning BJJ or Judo, stop by Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday at 630!
