In 1935, when Steve was just 15 years old, he came to America from a small village in Greece. He and his father moved in with an aunt and uncle and two cousins, Pete and Gus Palles. Armed with a sixth grade education and forced to learn English from scratch, Steve settled into life in Pottsville, Pennsylvania.

The evening manager on 1/24/22 was very rude and not helpful at all. He was very stand offish, cold, and uncaring. We weren't even complaining, just asking a question about accommodating a large group. We immediately asked for the check for our drinks and we left and went to Archers were the service was much better.

Just moving into springboro area. Soo good the food, im hooked. The service was awesome, multiple times ive been either with lunch or dinner. The hours are posted till 10pm but now for a couple times i call after 9pm just to order carry out. Its always now a gamble if they are open, taking orders. So either google or the restuarnt need to fix the houra postes. Esp when you have cravings.

First time at The Famous Restaurant and i’ll definitely be back again. The service was quick and friendly.
Ended up getting the fried avocado, the famous fish sandwich and the famous burger. All of it was amazing.
Was barely able to get any pictures before it was all eaten up. The serving sizes were generous and the fish sandwich was huge! Worth the price for sure.

My first time at this restaurant wanted to try something different—friendly, clean, and laid-back environment. They have a nice bar with televisions all around, something for the kids and adults to watch, especially if the big sports game is on.
Our waiter (Mia) was very attentive and fast with our appetizer, dinner, and drinks. They have menus you can access through your mobile phone via barcode, or if you're not into that, you can still get a paper menu at your convenience. The food was perfect, fresh, and hot.

I stopped in with my business partner earlier this afternoon to grab a quick bite to eat for lunch. I had brought him here a couple weeks ago and he absolutely loved it.
Today when lunch was mentioned he said, “I want to go back to that same place you brought me to last time!”
I have ALWAYS had phenomenal service and excellent food here. Today was no different for me.... Our server was very knowledgeable, friendly and on her stuff throughout the entire meal!
Even though my friend said his coleslaw was just “OK”, he still managed to eat every bit of his meal like he was a stoned, pregnant

AWESOME. This place has a family feel and has large tables to handle large groups. They have a large beer menu with both craft and domestic options. They had Bud Light (pretty big glasses) for $2 on a Saturday night. Yes, please. The food menu had everything from dinners to sandwiches, burgers, salads and more. They also had a good kids menu. The helpings were very generous and the pricing was very reasonable. This is definitely a new favorite, I'll definitely be back. Highly recommended.
