Palermo's

I got take out from Palermo's Restaurant in Kettering. Garlic rolls, chicken parm, side salad, chicken noodle soup, (and I don't remember what the other entree was).
The size of the cup of soup was disappointing. I used to be in the business, so I understand the size difference between a cup and a bowl, but this looked like they ran out of soup and tried to scrape up what they had left. There wasn't much there at all. The croutons were soggy; soggier than a quick trip home should have made them. The garlic rolls didn't have much flavor. The pasta dishes were just okay. Palermo's may look like a hole in the wall, but their food is delicious. My favorite is the chicken piccata! Their garlic knot rolls melt in your mouth. Pizza and Lasagna is yummy too.

The food is fresh and hot. The Italian sausage and meatballs were to die for. The chicken noodle soup was the best I have tasted. The pizza was made with real Italian sausage not crumbled. Two thumbs up.

I'm done with Palermo's! Been wanting it all week. Go today, Saturday, at 3:30. Sign on door says opens at 4. Door is open and a man was sweeping. I opened the door and said "are you open?" He said not until 5. Ok. Door says 4. Website says 11. I hope you go out of business! The prices are now in line with West Chester. Reality check people. You are in Moraine! $18 for spaghetti? Bite me Krispy Kream!

Small Italian restaurant with amazing food. Everything on the menu is great. Great outdoor patio that is quiet and nice to relax and enjoy the weather.

We have been long time fans of Palermos. Unfortunately, we have seen a decrease in the quality of service and decor.
The food is always good and that is what has kept us as customer’s...however...
The decor and cleanliness of the restaurant has been questionable. There has been a large photo missing from the wall for at least a year and there is pealing pant where it should be. The environment is cluttered and not pleasing to the eye.

Honestly, I don't care for the food all that much. The location in Kettering appears to be closed often, and appears to be poorly run. The ONLY reason I go is to listen to Tim Jennens. Whatever he is getting paid, I'd bet it isn't enough. You're blessed to have him!

Very disappointing. Food quality was marginal and the wait staff weren't responsive and looked like they were dressed for a costume party. This used to be a great Italian restaurant but not any more....

Horrendous service tonight. Food was tasty. Service was awful. Received our drinks but then our order wasn’t take for another 15 minutes. Never received our salads, and took another 40 minutes to get our food. We’re never offered refills on our drinks. It was just really bad service. Saw several people just leave as they weren’t being serviced.

I wouldn’t even give this place one star, but wanted to write a review! I suggest going to Fazoli’s over this place!! We had the worst food & customer service EVER! Only our 3rd time there & this was the last. The other 2 times, in 2019, we had good food & very professional waitresses. They didn’t have spinach for the spinach lasagne & they didn’t have eggplant for the eggplant Parmesan….on a Sat. night at 6pm! They weren’t busy at all, now I know why. The waitresses were not professional at all & looked like they were going to a bar, not serving customers in Kettering!! We will not

Awesome veal parmigiana. It was so tender I could cut it with a fork. The bread served with dinner had a great flavor. The house made vinaigrette was also very good. The service was fantastic.

Update: if you love cold pizza, the leftovers of the pizza from the review that were eaten ~18 hours after it was ordered were outstanding. the crust had softened up and was perfect.
Solid pizza- pictured to capture crust bubbles...plain cheese 16". Noticable garlic in it, but in a good way. Bottom of the crust had a small crunch to it from being a little overdone for my liking, but the cheese wasn't burnt and it was fully cooked which a lot of places around here don't get right. Speaking of the cheese, a little too much which most won't mind...would definitely not get extra. All in all I'd order

This food is average at best. We ordered the "garlic" knots, there was not a piece of garlic to be seen or tasted. We also ordered spaghetti and meatballs, the meatballs were mushy and tiny, this plate was way overpriced for what you get. And finally, the spinach lasagna, which was the best of the three we ordered but still nothing great. There were no classic Italian flavors that you'd expect in any of these dishes.

We ordered from Here through DoorDash. I will be returning! The sauce and pasta was delicious (we had cheese ravioli and the pasta trio). The garlic knots and side salads were sufficient. The pasta is clearly the star. We also splurged on dessert. The tiramisu and lemon cake were absolutely delicious. We splurged getting it through DoorDash, but it was worth it. Craving: crushed.

This is one of our favorite local spots. We are close enough to walk. It's fun to eat outside on the back patio when it's warm. There is a bar and tables inside. Friendly servers. Good pizzas and calzones, as well as pasta and dinners. Plenty of parking out front of the strip mall.

We've been going here for quite a few years now. However, the we just went for the first time with the new owners and had the best experience yet! They are both dedicated to the business and excited to make a great place even better. Very excited for what's to come and definitely recommend!

Yesterday, August 13th was the first time I and my extended family have ever dined at Palermo's and I can assure you they far exceeded our expectations and provided a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend Palermo's for a night out but especially for a family and/or business gathering.

Palermo's was suggested during the planning of my father's funeral as an option for the memorial luncheon. It was close to Calvary Cemetery, they offer multiple options for food service (buffet style vs. a la carte), and their prices are very reasonable and affordable with generous

Not good. Sat on patio because the weather was nice. The patio wasn't. It is dirty, old, broken down umbrella's, weeds growing all around. It, no music. food was at best mediocre. Lots of cheese. We were the only customers on patio at 9 pm on Friday night. Should've been a big cue to us !!

Excellent food and wine. A little hidden gem. Extremely fast service, generous portions, great prices, and a fun retro feel to the indoor dining area. There's a lovely outdoor patio out back. A solid neighborhood spot with friendly staff and solid fare. We will be back!

The food was good. I asked for a Deep Dish since Giodornos is still very busy and I was told they were out of ingredients to make a deep dish. The waitress seemed a little unsure about the menu of what she was serving. I'm not sure the difference in ingredients between a regular pizza and a deep dish? I would have thought just more dough or something and more sauce. I was able to order a regular pizza and it was pretty good. I'm dropping a few stars because the waitress seemed not to be as knowledgeable about the products and that the supply logistics had poor planning to where they were

We WERE regulars on getting pizza here, until 2 weeks ago. Pizza was far from baked and totally disgusting. We are done with Palermos

Service was mediocre. Usually quality food. Got take out, pizza has raw dough on the bottom. I specifically asked for well done crust because I know it can have a flop. Had to bake it when I got home and it was still awful. This is terrible. Never again.

I got the Stromboli, my wife got fettuccine Alfredo, and my brother got a deluxe pizza. My Stromboli was 99% cheese and the dough wasn't cooked thoroughly. I think I found a couple of tiny ham pieces in there, but it was mostly cheese. So basically it was a undercooked cheese log. My wife couldn't eat half of her Fettuccine Alfredo as it was the consistency of glue and had about the same flavor. Pizza was acceptable, but bland. The service was very good, but that's where the good news ends. Won't be returning here.

Best garlic bread ever! Portions are very generous. My fiancé got the egg plant with the spinach and onions and loved it. My gnocchi bolognese was great as well. Our server was the nicest woman ever. They had live music on the back patio, he was entertaining. Our cocktails were generous pours. We just moved to the neighborhood and will be back for sure. It's a neighborhood gem.

The food was okay but the service was horrible!!
We kept waiting for water, food, cheese....
I'd rather go to Jimmys in Kettering. Same food but much better service!!
