Services
Countryside Veterinary Clinic first began in 1993 as a mobile practice in a 28 foot renovated van. The practice became busy enough that we needed a "home base" which prompted the purchase of the building we are in now in 1997. And we've been here ever since. We stand behind our motto, which is "To treat every client as if they are our family and every patient as if they are our own."
Take a moment to think about your own health. We know that the best way to stay healthy is by good nutrition, staying active, having a yearly physical done by our own doctors, etc. The same is true for our pets - even more so because animals age more quickly than we do! At Countryside Veterinary Clinic, we strive to provide the best care for your pets so you can live long, happy, and healthy lives together.
Keep your cat or dog healthy by making regular veterinary appointments with Countryside Veterinary Clinic. From vaccinations and health exams, your pet's needs will be taken care of. Cats are wonderful pets; in fact, over 25% of US households share their home with a feline companion, according to the AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association).
As a full-service veterinary clinic, Countryside Veterinary Clinic offers more than just preventative and diagnostic services. Dr. Kutchins performs a wide range of surgical procedures. Her capabilities range from routine spay, neuter and dental prophylaxis/oral surgeries to lumpectomies (mass removal), bone fracture repair, cystotomy (bladder stone removal), enucleation (removal of eye), and other non-routine soft tissue procedures.
There are occasions when just an examination isn't enough to determine why your pet is feeling ill. This is when we use our diagnostic tools, which will provide detailed information about your pet, allowing us to treat him/her in the quickest and most effective way possible. While we offer a wide variety of tests in the clinic, there are some that need to be sent out to outside laboratories.

We really appreciate this business! Dr. Lisa loves our lab, Chessie, and Chessie recognises her when she comes to the car to talk to me, barking her head off with joy!
Our Chocolate, Aubrey, had fluid on her liver and her cardiac sac. I contacted her after hours to tell her we were going to a hospital with a cardiologist in Southfield. She recommended MSU - we didn't know they had a 24 hour hospital. Got the best care there, too! Saved her life!
Aubrey is doing great, will take her soon for a follow up as well as Chessie with Dr. Lisa. Icing on the cake? We get a lab puppy, same breeder as Aubrey

She is one of the coldest human beings in the world. A friend of mine went to the aide today of a large dog that was hit on Michigan Ave and left for dead while the dog and its owner were on a walk. There was no possible way for that woman to carry her dog or leave it in the middle of the road and run to her vehicle (where ever it was) and take it… to see the vet. So my friend drove up to COUNTRYSIDE VET and asked if they could drive up the road (like 2 blocks)and see if they could help the dog in need and she was told "it wasn't their problem" WOW!!!!! I will NEVER take my pets to her,
