Horrible company. We liked them until they tried to lie and try to scam us out of our security deposit while trying to charge even more. We were put in a disgusting apartment to begin with, with marks all over the walls and doors, holes in the walls, a disgusting uncleaned stove and fridge, broken blinds, dirty cabinets, dirty floors, and so much more. We made sure to take pictures of everything when we moved in, and the guy who showed us the property promised that we would not be held accountable for that when we move out. Fast forward to now, we moved out and here we are being charged for ALL

I get it. They are a big company handling rentals, sales and investment properties in a variety of markets, but they are a bit over the top. The numerous app fees, the absurd details on the lease, having to get cashiers checks on short notice and drop them in a secure mail slot at the back of a building before I even signed a lease. It's all a bit much, even if it is standard protocol these days. I'm renting a one bedroom apartment, not buying a million dollar mansion. BUT....There was one saving grace and that was the agent who was absolutely amazing, Wendy Freitas. Great communication, professional

I have been waiting for the return of my security deposit for more than 1 month, they made my refund wrong, they made charges that do not match the reality of facts and now I have to wait for another 15 days until they resolve the case for them to be sent the check for the correct amount! They take a long time to get back to you, they don't respond to emails and text messages. I would definitely never do business with this real estate company again and I'll make sure people I know don't too.

Realty company is great in terms of responsiveness even when contacting them after hours. However, we have had an ongoing issue with the AC since literally the day we moved in. They are very helpful in getting it resolved but the homeowner could have done a better job of making sure the property (AC unit specifically) was up to date prior to listing it on the market. As a homeowner myself with a rental property in another state, I ensured the property was as perfect as can be for my tenants. Yes, things happen and emergencies come up but going days without AC with 3 young kids every few months

I’ve rented with homevest since 2017 and I would recommend to anyone. I always pay my rent on time/early and they have allowed me to stay for four years now without gauging me on rent. This is the longest place I’ve lived since moving to Florida. Our property manager Rosa has been super accommodating and informative, always available after hours by texts which is appreciated as I’ve waited weeks before to hear back from some property managers. Anytime I had a work order it was addressed within 24 hours and the girls at the front desk have been super nice anytime I call. 10/10 recommend doing

Homevest reality does not even deserve 1 star. Everyone we dealt with there were the most unprofessional property managers / realtors we've ever come into contact with. Joanne bracero is the worst. First of all nothing worked when we moved in,, garbage disposal broken, plumbing broken, dishwasher broken, 1 set of house keys and 1 garage opener which we had to pay over $300 for a mailbox key and pool key.. given 2 gate transponders that never worked,, light bulbs all burnt out.. we were told by homevest it was up to us to fix. Who rents a broken tow home that was not cheap!!!!! It's like

The staff at Homevest are very knowledgeable and helpful. This is not a mega broker, and yet they are still able to offer many full service real estate services with personal attention. If you are looking to buy your first home or you have already been around the block, I would suggest you try them out.

I'm new to renting so I'm not sure how any of this is supposed to work, but here goes my thoughts. My lease and paperwork from homevest say two different things. The property manager was not at all knowledgeable about the property. One of the remotes for the lighting doesn't work. We were given no information about the community rec center. When I asked, I was told to ask the homeowner. All in all, these are not big issues as homevest is not the property manager (they were a broker and the homeowner manages the property) so I can deal with the homeowner. They were responsive until

We have had a terrible experience with Homevest. Communication with our property manager has been very spotty. We moved into our home and the cleaning staff was still there after being told that they were finished the day prior.
- The walls are still COVERED in scuff marks, holes and still had nails sticking out of them from previous tenants.
- The upstairs AC was broken
- The half bathroom toilet doesn't flush.
- The carpets are still filthy, despite the fact that we were told that they were steam cleaned two days prior to move in.
- We have lived there for 6 days and the washing

Homevest Realty has been outstanding! Of the 5 management companies I have had experience with, they are by far the most communicative and responsive! I was sold when Cory apologized "for the delay" ( he responded 48 hours) in responding to a relatively unimportant email and he has maintained this level of communication since that time!

This is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. I own a home that was rented through Homevest. There were only 2 times I ever spoke with the property manager (Joann) on the phone. When we discussed me using her and homevest as my property manager and after well over 15 calls I placed to her cell phone, office voicemail and messages left with other people in the office and after I sent an email complaining that I had never gotten a call back (22 months after renting through them). FIRED them after the first week. Totally non-communicative. They were supposed to have a cleaning crew in for a deep clean. Didn't show up the first, second, or third day they said they would. Jaclyn Cox, mgr, was unresponsive. Was told by the cleaner that is was done. I went over today, doesn't look like it was ever touched. And where's the property manager, Jaclyn??? Who knows. If this is how they treat new customers, you know how they treat the tenants ! STAY CLEAR !

Dealing with the property managers and sales agents at Homevest Management was easy and efficient. They were very knowledgeable and experienced. I would highly recommend them to all my friends and relatives that need to rent or buy a home in the Central Florida area. Lived in one of the dumps they manage for a year, couldn't wait to leave. They are completely incompetant, and surprisingly unintelligent. The spelling and grammar errors in their communication are unexcusable for adults. I moved into the place with a broken dishwasher and disposal. The floors and cabinets were absolutely filthy, they did zero work cleaning for a new tenant. The simplest requests for work mystifies them, and they are incapable of responding to emails or phone calls until you contact the owner......but he is just as incompetant as them. My girlfriend and I were looking for a short term lease in the Lake Eola area. Our top choice was this cute little place managed by Homevest Realty. We sent our applications to our realtor and were reassured of two things: that we were the only ones currently interested in the property, and as long as our background checks returned OK, the place would be ours. The realtor reaffirmed that she wouldn't accept any other applications while ours were pending. Confident with our clean history and good credit, we waited for our approval and stopped our search.

I lived in a Homevest-managed property for about 3 years and I would recommend them to anyone looking to rent one of the properties they manage. They were always very professional. I did have a $75 clause in the lease which meant that anything costing less than $75 to fix would be the tenants responsibility.
