Services
Acupuncture Plus has been providing premium wellness services to the Denver area for more than 16 years. Founded and run by Carol LeCroy, Acupuncture Plus takes a holistic view of health, approaching each patient as an individual to provide customized services that are designed for your unique condition.
Combining millennia-old methods with cutting-edge techniques, Acupuncture Plus' application of Traditional Chinese Medicine restores balance and improves overall health. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a medical system based on more than 5,000 years of established, documented healing methods.
There are thousands of studies demonstrating the effectiveness of acupuncture in treating pain. Since acupuncture is all about opening the body's natural energy pathways, the treatment of pain often means addressing energetics to clear a blockage that's causing discomfort in the affected area.

At Acupuncture Plus, Carol LeCroy combines direct treatment of the problem areas with a holistic approach to relieving pain through a restoration of the body's natural balance. Her treatment begins with opening up proper energy flow through the pathways that impact the painful area. Often, these referral points are missed by more direct pain treatments, allowing the discomfort to return as soon as those treatments wear off.
In parts of ancient China, you only paid your doctor when you were well. If you got sick, you kept your cash in your pocket. That practice underlined the fundamental theory behind wellness; it is the preservation of health, rather than the treatment of problems after they've occurred. Today, while the economic model may have changed, wellness is still about preventing illness.
Many women's health issues stem from hormonal imbalances. These imbalances can impact everything from menstrual discomfort to mood disorders to menopause. Evidence shows that acupuncture can address these imbalances by directly influencing brain chemistry. By opening up the body's natural energy flows, acupuncture helps regulate the hormonal system and restore balance to the body.

Negatives: the parking lot is small so not easy to fit a big car in but I manage. It’s also downtown so traffic can be tricky.
Positives: the staff is amazing! Amy and Carol are incredibly kind, compassionate acupuncturists. They seem to truly care in their clients and want the best outcome. I go for electroacupuncture to help with my lining in preparation of a frozen embryo transfer. Carol and Amy have made me feel safe and well cared for during this stressful time. There is another Amy who works the desk and scheduling. She is wonderful as well!
Electroacupuncture isn’t the most comfortable

Carol has saved my life 3 times now. No exaggeration. As a massage therapist that relies on my health in order to work, I owe a great deal of gratitude to this whole office.

Been going to Carol for many years. She has helped me deal with the stress of work and now she helps me with back issues. She's great and always open to new ideas in the healing of her clients. Amy, the office manager keeps everything moving smoothly. I highly recommend her services.

Carol and her staff are absolutely fantastic. I have suffered from herniated discs and a lot list of other issues and Carol gets right to the issue and solves it. I wasted my time going to another acupunturist when I first moved to Denver and wish I would have found Carol sooner.

She has an incredible bedside manner and works with your western meds (for me thyroid medicine) instead of trying to force you onto eastern only. Her approach and style are amazing and she gets results.

I would have been less surprised if my (medical)Doctor had said I had to go see a witch Doctor. And to bring my own bat blood and cow eyeballs. But he did not just recommend rather prescribed acupuncture.

I'm a Western Medicine girl. Have a headache? Take advil. Break a leg? Set it in a cast. It all seems to work just fine. So for me to have to have acupuncture was a lot to bite off. But there are studies which suggest that acupuncture does in fact work in some cases. So off I went.

The first session included an introduction to acupuncture. Just to get me accusomed to the idea

I first started using Carol for acupuncture about 4 years ago. My wife introduced me to her. She's the best! She's really gentle, and she takes the time to explain what she's doing and why. I wasn't totally sure that acupunture would work for me, but Carol changed my mind! Not only does she provide acupuncture, but she provides vitamins as well. In fact, that's mostly how I use her these days. Finally, for a centrally located place in Denver, she's got great parking!
