A friend recommended Al Momentum when I mentioned needing to repair my mother's inexpensive watch. I wanted to buy Mom a new watch, but her dementia demanded that we try to maintain her status quo. Although her watch needed nothing more than a new battery, Mr. Giraldo checked everything out and cleaned it up, inside and out - at no additional charge. Old fashioned service that is rarely seen these days.

Al is the best in all of North Texas! If he can't do it, it can't be done. I have had a ladies diamond watch that everyone else said they wouldn't attempt to fix it. That watch sat in a drawer for years and years. It looked so nice, but it didn't work. Then I found Al. He didn't blink, not a problem. He took it, replaced the workings, cleaned it up and it looks and works good as new. Thanks Al!! If you need anything watch, jewelry etc., Al is the man!

I took my fathers wrist watch to Al to see if it was worth repairing as I had no idea of its value. I very much appreciated the time he spent with me and his honesty in telling me he could repair the watch, but it would be purely for sentimental reasons as the repair would be more than what it is worth. Al is very professional and I definitely will be taking any watch repairs to him in the future. Again Al, thanks so much for your honesty.

I have visited Al Momentum several times for watch batteries, watch repairs, jewelry repair (broken gold chain), and eyeglasses repair. Every time I received great service. Expert quality work, very quickly, and with a great personal interaction. Definitely my preferred place for jewelry and watch repairs.

We have worked with Al for years! He's great at what he does and is very trustworthy. We took my husband's Panerai watch in for a cleaning and tune up and totally trusted his expertise. He just expanded and has a lot of beautiful jewelry in the cases. His prices are reasonable and his turnaround time is quick! I definitely recommend him to anyone.

Al is the best! If you need a new battery for your watch, you'd be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't go see him! His pricing is great ($18 for a designer watch battery replacement), he's nice, and he's not trying to rip you off. He asked if I could stay for ten minutes because he could replace my battery right then and there. Made my day!

. I had to have some stuck ear studs cut of. Also had to change batteries on 3 watches. I brought some batteries i brought of amazon which Al said he doesn't recommend since they were ant to expire n could leak acid. He swore by Swiss batteries which i got for 2 of my nice watches.
Paid 30 bucks for 2 battery change and to cut of 3 ear rings. He didn't charge me to change the battery I bought.
Al was very pleasant, nice and honest. He was prompt and got everything done under 10 minutes.

I was looking forward to supporting a locally owned shop, and had a great experience until I realized the charm on my necklace was missing. Employee was careless without the owner there and had the nerve to blame me for his misplacing of my necklace. Twice he talked about how my necklace was gold plated, I know it's not the most expensive but it was a gift and should be treated the same. I may still give this place another shot when the owner is there because their prices are very reasonable compared to the mall.

If I could give more stars, I would. Al has always cleaned our jewelry, replaced batteries, ...you know, the norm for most jewelers. This particular day wasn't the norm. I'm 8 months pregnant, and I'd realized that my wedding band was stuck. Nothing worked: soap, oil, butter, string trick, nothing. So I went to see Al so he could cut it off. It wasn't having it. Long story short: Al ended up having to use an electric blade to saw through my band, and I can't say enough how patient he was! He took his time, kept asking if I was okay, and even reassured me that he was a head

I am new in Dallas and needed a watch battery. At the mall, I was quoted $60-$100, and when I queried the cost was told it was because my watch is gold and the battery would be replaced while I waited! I Googled and found Al, and he did the job very carefully while I waited. It cost $25 for what I believe is the very same battery. The service was quick, efficient, and pleasant, and the location is very convenient--easy parking. What more could I want?
