I have attended multiple funerals throughout my life that were done by McCommons Funeral Home. They are always very professional and caring. They’ve been in the business for many generations and everything always goes smoothly. I would consider no other business when planning a funeral for a loved one.

McCommons provides excellent, professional funeral service. I have family all over Georgia and Florida and have never attended a funeral as organized and dignified as the service provided by McCommons.

Excellent service, kind and compassionate staff who went above and beyond what we ever expected to help us through the difficult time of the funeral and burial of our daughter. I will never forget their assistance and I am thankful for them.

I strongly recommend not going to this place if you have a choice. The way we were treated was inhuman and extremely unkind. Losing a loved one is hard enough.
I’m going to go more into what happened so people have the true picture of my situation.
First- They mad assumptions of what my brother would have wanted without any knowledge of him.
Second- We decided to go with another funeral home because we wanted to see him and say our last goodbyes without a ceremony. We called and told them that we were going with someone else and would make arrangements. Then they went and embalmed him at their

We did a direct burial of our loved one. We were told that if we wanted to see her in casket there would be an extra charge and if we wanted to be at burial that was also an extra charge. After she was buried I got a phone call, "It's done." And then they hung up the phone. It was cold and like a slap in the face. I checked with other funeral homes and their charges for direct burial were $2000 to $3000 less and we would have been able to see our loved one in casket which is called identifying a loved one as well as be at cemetery for NO extra charge. I've had NO closure and this service has tripled

An extra fee to see a loved one before they are buried? An extra fee to stand there while they are put in the ground? $250 foot an obituary (when confronted about this price the owner claimed we we're told $150. The local paper charges $25 for an obit). A phone call saying "it's done" and hanging up on us after they burued her? I mean, I guess they buried her. We don't really know since it would have been an extra fee to see her buried. And it still cost nearly twice as much as other places. Disgusting.
