On the Run Fitness & Pilates is a full-service Pilates studio focused on improving our clients' quality of life through physical fitness. We provide a personalized experience through private, semi-private, and small group sessions.

Our highly experienced and professional Balanced Body Certified Pilates Instructor, who has been Certified in Exercise Physiology for over 28 years, has helped countless men and women eliminate pain, improve their balance, and enjoy many other health benefits. On the Run Fitness & Pilates is known for our engaging classes, relaxing atmosphere, and dedication to results.

Our mission at On the Run Pilates is to provide you with an unsurpassed pilates experience, offering you passionate, skilled, certified and experienced instructors in a beautiful, fully equipped, upscale and peaceful environment. We believe in honoring the method of Joseph Pilates as well as the evolution and science behind the method.
On the Run Fitness & Pilates is conveniently located in the Loch Leven Landing Shopping Center (near Starbucks) with ample free parking. We have beautiful views, ample parking, and a relaxingly calm studio atmosphere. While we are located in Mount Dora, our clients come to us from all over Central Florida.
Our policies are in place to promote safety and comfort in the studio and to assist you in gaining a "healthy" return on your investment of time and money. Clients must schedule and/or cancel their appointments via the MindBody Online Scheduler. We will not accept cancellations over the phone or by e-mail as we do not have a receptionist and do not answer the phone/e-mail during classes or private sessions.
Before entering a class, each new client needs to complete two private Pilates lessons. We have a new client special of $50 off your first two private lessons-55 minutes each for $150. These initial lessons include instruction on how to use our equipment, stabilize your spine, and properly perform Pilates breathing techniques.
Since this is a studio setting, you never have to train with a lot of people around like you would have to at the big box gyms. Our one on one workouts are personalized to each individual and designed for positive reinforcement and success. You know you can benefit from bettering yourself physically and mentally for a more enriched, enhanced life and perhaps enhance your lifestyle as well.

Instructors are well educated and very motivating. The class is both challenging and enjoyable. My core strength and flexibility have really improved. The studio is clean and the equipment is well maintained.

"You are only as young as your spine is flexible." 4 years ago- my spine was like a 90 year old woman... Thankfully- On the Run Fitness and Pilates changed that.
Every session - my body improves. I am in the best shape of my life-but its more than that. I understand my body and my muscles.. My posture improved 100% which led to less back and neck pain. It is an exercise that you can do at any age.

Outstanding! Depth of knowledge regarding Pilates, the spine, movement, and all-around fitness are hallmarks of this local business owner and her staff. The facility is inviting, clean and very well equipped with the only the best equipment available. The new location is incredibly convenient and has ample parking. Mount Dora, and the surrounding area, is truly lucky to have such a fitness resource available so close.

I love Pilates at 'On the Run'. Vickie Blate, the owner is a complete professional, and I feel totally confident in her instruction. I have been taking Pilates with her for more than 5 years, and I always look forward to my sessions. I am stronger, more supple and happier since I started working with her. The studio is exceptional; extremely clean, amazingly well equipped, and the natural light totally enhances my visit. I highly recommend 'On the Run Fitness and Pilates'.

I travel for work a lot and have taken Pilates sessions on three continents. To my amazement, the small town of Mt. Dora had a studio, AND had classes that kept me on my toes. Took the class from who I feel is the owner (smaller dark haired lady), who kicked my butt (in a good way). Next time I'm visiting family I look forward in trying to drop in on another class or two.

Pilates is an outlet for my wife to get away from the hustle and bustle, so I was surprised she invited me to come with her a few times. However, I was more surprised when the classes I took actually kept me engaged and the owner (who also taught our class) made sure I felt comfortable doing the things I was doing since I was new at it. Highly recommend this place if you're looking to dip your toes in to this type of exercise. My wife, who is much more advance than I loves it too, so if you're not a newbie, check it out too.

I love coming here after a long day for a nice relaxing workout. The instructor is very knowledgeable and always makes me feel comfortable and confident. I feel stronger in only the few months I’ve been doing Pilates.

I've been attending Pilates classes at On the Run Fitness and Pilates since July of last year. I'd never taken classes before, always working out with a trainer or on my own. So I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the classes. I like the atmosphere, the other clients, our instructor and of course seeing results. I've learned a lot and my body and especially my core has definitely gotten stronger with each passing week. I would definitely recommend this exercise methodology for improving posture, strength and stability.
