Dr. Eric Ayen has lived with his family in Byron for the past 12 years and in Rochester for the 12 years before that. He is originally from southern Wisconsin where he completed his undergraduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
After working as an IT professional following his undergraduate degree, he wanted to align his life's work with his true passion for health and wellness and made a choice to pursue his doctorate of chiropractic degree.He attended chiropractic college at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN and is grateful to be able to serve Byron and the surrounding communities for its chiropractic and wellness needs.

At Ayen Chiropractic, Dr. Ayen utilizes the Activator Methods protocol for his adjustments. The Activator is a small handheld instrument designed for chiropractic adjusting. I used to drive 1.5 hours to go to highly recommended chiropractor. I just found out that Dr. Eric did his internship there and now I only need to drive less than 20 minutes to receive the same excellent care. Dr. Eric is a very good listener and asks relevant questions. I was very impressed and felt he did a wonderful job. I felt better after my first visit. He is my choice, hands down, for my ongoing chiropractic health care!

If you are putting up with pain because past care, whether it was chiropractic, physical therapy or other, just didn’t do the trick, I can tell you to keep trying, there is a solution and I stumbled on it at Ayen Chiropractic in Byron, MN about three months ago.
My issues: Lower back pain-quite severe and chronic, right knee pain, Plantar fasciitis, sometimes a stiff neck, headaches, occasional upper back, etc.

I cannot say enough good about Dr. Ayen and his office assistant Amber. I made an appointment at a time my shoulders and other areas were seriously misaligned, and the discomfort made doing everyday tasks difficult due to the pain and loss of sleep. Dr. Ayen's initial consult showed him to be a great listener and very thorough. After going to Dr. Ayen for Chiropractic care I feel I have a much better understanding of how it can help me over time. He does a great job of breaking things down so my wife and I can understand. Would recommend Ayen Chiropractic to anyone. Love the fact that the style he uses doesn't feel like he is breaking me but I am still getting all of the proper adjustments. I've now been in to see Dr. Ayen 3 times! In the past I've had off/on neck pain upon waking the morning. Usually it lasts for a good week (where I look like a robot when I try to try my head). This time, I decided to try a new path, so I called Dr. Ayen. He was able to get my in on short notice. Dr. Ayen did a thorough evaluation and explained what was wrong and why he was doing what he was doing. I hadn't been to a chiropractor that used the Activator method, but I have to say, it's fantastic! My neck pain was gone within a day.
