I would heed the reviews that say dont move here. I should've 4 years ago. Ive talked with 5 different residents this month so far (12/9/21 now) and its the same complaints. Parking is horrible, parking ENFORCEMENT are vultures, high rent with no money put into the community area (only "area beautification"), no substantial move to make new guest parking spaces, homeless walk through the apartments at night and have even offered me drugs. That's right, its not a fully fenced off lot. They lied to me about that too. Once my lease is up, I'm leaving.
Michelle was awesome btw. To bad she quit, she

I moved here about a year and a half ago. Up until a couple of months ago I had no complaints. They changed up how they allow parking earlier this year since there was a lot of people using our spots, which I thought was great. I already had a spot, but whenever I had friends over they had to park across the street. Now there's more parking. Great right? Not really. I had a friend move in a couple of months ago. She's been towed 7 times, totaling well over $3600. Why? Because there is no more parking spots to rent, so she has to use guest parking. You have to register to use a guest spot, however

I seem to be another renter that is dealing with the HOA and parking. The area my assigned spot is in was paved months ago and they still haven’t painted,so the spots are basically now open to whoever. I asked a while back, “can something be put up in the meantime until they paint letting people know they are assigned spots. Evidently not, but last month they put up notifications in front of the spots that they would be painted I believe on the 20th. The time came and went and they still are unpainted. I have had tickets, and have been towed. They absolutely do not care about the residents

Why are the residents punished for living here when you didn't build enough parking spaces? They don't have enough parking spaces to rent so they force you use a registrar. You're only allowed 20 days of registration a month. That leaves 10 days. 10 days worth of 50 dollar tickets, and 5 or more days of $500 tows. And when it comes to towing they're predators. HOA doesn't care that you live here, that they only give you 20 days, if you've been parked there 20 minutes or 3 days. They won't compensate you for anything.

I am a resident here. They turned off the digital parking passes in lieu of the construction that was going on. Without warning my car was impounded while I was parking in GUEST parking for not having a parking permit. Now I have a $500 impound fee for parking at my own home.

We have been residents here going on our third year and although I do have some suggestions for a more convenient living culture for the OLP people, I believe it to be more important highlighting what is awesome about the area.
As I said, going on three years now, I have not once experienced such a more tight-knit community between staff and residents. From day one, I've had the pleasure of knowing maintenance by first name, wonderful man. The newest guy is very through in all he does as well. Took a bit of warming up as it does with all new encounters but he can definitely crack jokes.

We recently moved in, and are so happy here! Residents and staff are polite and nice and it is a very pet friendly area! Michelle and Amber have worked with us and made our move as stress free as possible, and I truly appreciate them! Our condo is recently renovated and we love it. Parking can be iffy if you have more than one vehicle, but we have usually been able to find a guest spot close.

Don’t move here! These people are crooks!! They will tell you one thing about how much you will owe or not owe when moving out and then completely over charge you. Their carpets are garbage (brand new) and will completely fall apart. Then they will charge you full price to replace it even though the “damage” they claim is from the fact that the carpet was not installed properly and is very poor quality. When you try to talk to them about it they will not listen and say they pay for high quality carpet which is false. I feel completely taken advantage of and have never had such a high move

We have only been tenants a short time, but we love our new home. Michele is the most genuine and pleasant office staff I have encountered in all my rental experience. She is honest and forthcoming and is great at keeping in touch on any issues that come up. She has been very accommodating and understanding when trying to schedule around my schedule for maintenance work. Our unit was brand new from the studs up when we moved in and it is the nicest place we have ever lived. They are also the most pet friendly and accepting of size and breed, not an easy find by any stretch. The neighbors are friendly

Worst place to live in Vancouver. Worst parking. Manager is absolutely horrible person. Tried to tell me that I needed to sell my truck because she didn't like the way it looked. Given the fact that the truck is in my parking spot that I pay for that didn't come with the condo. Girlfriend parked in front of the parking spot to unload groceries she came out and yelled at her screaming at the top of her longs that she couldn't park there given the fact that my girlfriend informed her that all she was doing was unloading the groceries and then she would move her vehicle. My girlfriend

DO NOT RENT OR BUY ONE OF THESE PLACES. Parking is an absolute joke. They give one parking spot for every unit and then charge $50 a month to get another spot but you cant actually get another spot because none are available. There are multiple reserve spots that i have never seen anyone park in in the three years I have lived here. People are forced to park in front of garages or across the street and risk getting towed. The HOA is a joke they do not take care of anything. We used to be able to park in the little gravel lot near the back of the complex but they gated it off. They removed several

My Girlfriend and I moved in here about two months ago and we absolutely love it here, our neighbors are great, it's very quiet with a great view of the wetlands from our back patio, we are on the top floor, so we do have vaulted ceilings which makes the roomy unit feel even roomier, we have central heating and cooling along with a gas fireplace, the units are quite new and clean and an absolute bargain on price, the property manager is great, she is very personable and reasonable, she is always happy to help with any questions or concerns! the parking is limited, we have a garage included

Seriously, stay away from this place. Looks good on the outside but looks are only skin deep. Underneath you'll find HORRIFIC parking (good luck finding a spot to park, hope you have someone to drive you to the tow company yard to pick up your vehicle, and have a couple hundred extra dollars to get it back), hidden fees, heavy-handed management and more.
Won't take long to see the flaws of One Lake Place. Some tenants moving out because of the MAJOR parking problem it has. Even had a car horn blasting and two people losing it, screaming at each other, right outside my window one day
