Founded in 2019, New Approaches is an Out-Patient Clinic for the treatment of children, women, and men suffering with mental health disorder and/or substance misuse, located at 463 Washington Street Keene, NH. New Approaches will provide clients with a monitored and safe environment, free of the hazards of trauma.
Clients will participate in the clinical and life skills treatment program. New Approaches will provide clinical services driven by an individual master treatment plan supervised by licensed and credentialed counselors with client involvement, participation and consent. New Approaches will offer individual counseling, group counseling, life skills, 12-step-oriented workshops, SMART Recovery workshops, and didactic presentations.

Services
Dr. McCafferty has experience in working with individuals within residential programs outpatient programs. Dr. McCafferty is a member of the American Mental Health Counselor Association. In 2017, Dr. McCafferty was awarded the status of Diplomate in Trauma Treatment. Diplomate is the highest designation that the American Mental Health Counselor Association offers.
Psychotherapy is a collaborative process between a psychotherapist and an individual addressing psychological problems. Meetings normally last forty-five to fifty minutes and occur one to three times a week. A brief therapy lasts about three months; a long-term psychotherapy can last for several years.
New Approaches offers Outpatient treatment for those struggling with Mental Health and Substance Misuse disorders. The program combines the most effective behavioral therapies to provide individualized evidenced based care. We participate in a wide variety of insurances, making outpatient treatment affordable for many people.
