Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us or come in immediately.

1. Payment is expected when services are rendered. In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill. 2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash. All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
Our friendly, professional, and compassionate staff will always work hard to get you an appointment when you need it. Dr. Levine graduated from Ross University in 2006 with Highest Honors and since then has practiced in a variety of small animal practices in NY, NJ, and Pa., until purchasing Paws N Claws Veterinary Clinic.
Definitly great hearted people working here. I was very concerned able my little kitten getting neutered and I was updated promptly after his procedure. Felt he was in good hands by Dr. Levine and the staff was wonderful. My kitten recovered very nicely and I couldn't be happier. Dr. Levine does so much work for the animal community and has a very big heart.

Today was my first visit and I'm looking forward to being a permanent customer! I've heard nothing but good things being said about this veterinary office and I understand why. Very friendly, knowledgeable and compassionate staff, and Dr. Levine took the time to perform a thorough exam on my cat and encouraged input and questions from me. I'm fortunate that this excellent veterinary office is located in my town!

This Vet office is unprofessional and uncaring. They turned away a dying animal because they don't take walk-ins which is NOT stated on their website. The recepionist was polite when we came in, stating they didn't take walk-ins. We politely said okay & turned to leave. However. she stated she would asked the vet to take an emergency as we were at the door. The doctor made it a point to walk out of the back office to rudely point out " he had a obligation to his patients that actually made an appointment" and walked off with an attitude. I highlighted all of the above all of them fit the office experience. I can't say it is about the receptionist, the assistant or Dr. Levine because they all apply to everyone. When you come to the Vets office you are not in your right state of mind and everyone is so patient with me.
With great sadness, Walter passed that evening. Had an appointment with Red Bank Vet Hospital but they couldn't see him until Friday 11am-8pm. Traveling ultrasound.

My pup Ruger had some issues going on with his tummy and with everyone getting pets during the pandemic it’s almost impossible to get an appointment in a timely manner. Paws n Claws was able to get my pup seen in just a couple days! The techs and the vet there are so nice and professional. You can tell they truly love what they do for a living. I highly recommend this office !!

Dr. Levine and his staff are great ! We have a 17yo dog and two 5-month-old kittens and they are all treated here at Paws 'N Claws. Dr. Levine gives great individual attention to all our animals and our experience here has been very good. We just had both kittens spayed and neutered and both surgeries were a success with no complications. We highly recommend Dr. Levine and his staff.

Highly recommend. I have a Border Collie mix and a Min Pin. They both can be nervous around other people and in areas they are not used to. They are very understanding of that and never push them to walk in the parking lot. Half the time they carry them into the office 🤣. I go there fo nail trimming and grinding. They always take their time with their nails and make sure they are comfortable (my dogs do not like their nails cut). Never had and issue with them cutting their nails too short

Never had a better experience at a vet practice!! The staff in very caring, extremely friendly & knowledgeable! When I say "very caring", it's like the own & love your pet too!! I called four other vets & each one barely gave me the time of day, let alone let me schedule an appointment with them! I was seen by Dr. Levine within hours! He was again, very caring, thorough, took the time to make sure I understood what he was doing & why and just totally genuine! Dr Johnson was an amazing veterinarian! The practice was sold and I was not informed that there would be new ownership until I bought my pet in for vaccinations. The staff is very nice and professional however I've noticed changes with this practice since it has switched over. The main focus seems to be on money instead of the well being of the animals. My dog is ESA registered and is allowed to travel with me. I am active duty military and am required to travel a lot sometimes with little notice. I needed a verification form signed, just ensuring that my puppy is current on his rabies shot

I'm happy with this vet. I'm happy with the doctor and the vet techs. They're always super helpful and patient especially with my 15 year old cat who can be very difficult to examine. They've always taken care of us and we appreciate it. There is several vets located near our home but we continue to be customers.

Thank YOU Dr. Levine!!!!!! I was FINALLY able to sleep more than 1 hour straight time last night. Luke has a rare disorder called diabetes insipidus also known as water diadetes.(Diabetes insipidus (DI) is a rare disorder that affects water metabolism, preventing the body from conserving water and releasing too much of it. This condition is characterized by increased urination, dilute urine (so-called insipid, or dull urine), and increased thirst and drinking) Dr. Levine figured out the problem and last night I received Lukes meds from Utah. I gave him the meds at 10 PM and he only woke up once

We had our 15 year old miniature dachshund euthanized in July of this year. We paid to have the Dr and nurse come to our home to perform the procedure. Dr Levine was kind and warm during this trying day and treated our beloved dog with respect and compassion. Very excellent service. Reasonable fees. Highly recommend!

Had our dog spaded and could not ask for better care and treatment. Had the stitches taken out by the staff a great experience there also.

Used this clinic today (New Years eve) for our cat Chloe, she was suffering from a watery eye for over a week and we it was time to have it looked at. The facility was warm and inviting in appearance, it had a great deal of character about it and exhibited the taste of an animal lover. We were seen to right upon arrival by the nurse who was very courteous and professional. Shortly thereafter we were attended to by the vet on shift who was incredibly knowledgable, friendly and experienced. He displayed a good bed side manner with both us and the cat and provided an extensive course of treatment

Dr. Johnson is the best! It is very clear she cares about each and every pet and family that walks through the door. My family used to take our boxer there until we had to put him down about 10 years ago. As soon as we got a new dog in 2012, we took her right to Paws n Claws. The staff are friendly and the hours/scheduling are amazing when you have a busy work schedule. The care that is provided to my dog is great and I wouldn't take her anywhere else!

Doctor Johnson is a sweetheart of a vet! She is fantastic for diagnoses and you can be sure your animal is getting the best of care.

Price: Tends to overcharge at times.
Help: Dont know what it is, but the help is always miserable and frequently changing.
Otherwise, you can literally trust your pets life to her.

Excellent doctors! They are very caring and understanding! Very personable. One of the desk staff isn't too friendly. but that won't keep me away. The appearance of the offices are more on the homie side. Which is perfectly fine. The area the animals have to be examine is cleaned. Dr. Johnson is an awesome person. Dr. Sheldon is good as well, he tends to speak fast but he is a gentle doctor. All I have to say is great place to take your pet and awesome prices.
