I grew up in Los Angeles and got into photography and video at a fairly young age. My father was really into photography as a hobby so he taught me all the workings of a camera with an old, manual Pentax 35mm SLR. At the time I was more fascinated with the mechanics of the camera. It wasn't until I got into high school that I really started to value the art of photography.
In my early twenties I attended a few weddings of some friends and brought my camera along. It was at that point that I decided to pursue a career in professional photography. I began by shooting both photography and video at hundreds of weddings for a wedding house in Los Angeles.

I am really amazed at how great my professional photos turn out! Thank you sooo sooo sooo much Don!
To start with, I have to say that Don is super detail oriented. Before our shoot, he sent a long email telling me what to do, not to do, what to expect and followed up with a text the morning of shoot! Not only was Don super easy, laid back to work with, he made you feel so comfortable in front of the camera that the pictures turned out so great! I love his lighting and the different angles that he used. As most people, I am extremely critical with my photos but these not only look extremely

Don was the photographer for our engagement photo shoot. He knows the lighting very well which now I know how important it is and capture the great moment! Later I went back to ask him to shoot my headshot for my business. I always get compliments and I'm very happy with it! He is easy to work with and I'll definitely go back/recommend him!

Don photographed my wedding and the pictures were fabulous! Don is very detailed and goes to great lengths to get the perfect shot. I'm so happy with the photos, I know I'll cherish them for years to come. Don is also very professional, friendly and easy to work with. I hope to work with him again in the future. Would definitely hire LAPhoto Pro again.

LAPhoto Pro is Don Ptashne and he is a real pro. He has proven himself to be an outstanding photographer. A website manager suggested I use Don to take an important business portrait of me. I was actually thrilled with his pictures. I am not a youngster anymore; yet, his pictures were the best I have ever taken.
