I can't say enough good things about my experience with Boudoir Rouge-- Monica was professional, did an incredible job with my photos, and made me feel like a supermodel. The TL;DR version: if you're on the fence about whether or not to do this, do it! Especially don't get derailed by concerns that you're the "wrong" body type for this sort of photo shoot, because it is for EVERYONE. These photographers know what they're doing, and they will show you how beautiful you already are.

I cannot even begin to say how amazing this experience was. I read the reviews and did my research. Boudoir Rouge seemed like the perfect fit for me. The moment I called and spoke to Monica, it was a done deal. She communicated everything I would need the day of the shoot, directions, etc. Day of the shoot I was nervous but excited. Meeting Monica and Carson made me feel like I was in great hands. Carson did a fabulous job on my make up and hair. I highly recommend you have her do it. One less stress!. And Monica, oh she made it fun , comfortable and made me feel empowered. I felt beautiful inside

AMAZING and PROFESSIONAL! - Those are the words that come to mind when I think of my experience with Boudoir Rouge Photography. My photos were more amazing than I could have ever imagined! I paid extra for my hair and make-up to be done on site. I highly recommend this additional service. Monica was my photographer and she made me feel so comfortable and showed me exactly what to do. She was awesome! My husband was speechless. He loved every photo. I am so happy I chose Boudoir Rouge for this experience. I highly recommend Boudoir Rouge photography!!!!

It was a nice experience working with Susi. I rescheduled a couple times due to pregnancy related matters and Susi was very accommodating and kind. At the actual shoot she was professional and very quick. She asssists with posing and wardrobe. I will def do another photo shoot with her. Her pictures are beautiful.

I thought this was going to be a gift for my husband- turned out, it was a gift for me too! I am such a shy, not usually a photogenic girl, but Monica made me feel so very comfortable and fierce, and it was a feeling that stuck with me for days afterward. I had the best time at the shoot! Originally, I was just going to do one look, but at the last minute decided to do two, and I'm so glad I did. It was really nice to have a lighter/more sweet look and a darker/more sexy look. I thought I'd be floored if I loved even 4-5 of the images, but I ended up loving almost all 200 in my gallery

I had an incredible experience with Boudoir Rouge. Posing for these kinds of photos is not something that I would usually do. It is far outside my comfort zone, but I wanted a special anniversary gift for my husband.
During my initial phone call with Monica, she talked about the process, what I should bring with me and answered my many questions. She was super easy to talk to, and I was excited for the photo shoot.
During the shoot, Monica was fabulous. She made me feel at ease, and I grew more comfortable and confident every minute. She coached me the whole way on how to pose and what to do

First, I have to say that I am a shy, introverted woman who never really saw myself as sexy, so the idea of taking pictures in my lingerie made all my insecurities knock on my door. But I wanted to do something for my boyfriend as a reward for a project, and this seemed like the perfect one.

I had such an amazing experience with Boudoir Rouge!! Monica is an awesome photographer, and she put me totally at ease with her warmth and friendliness. The woman who did my hair and makeup was phenomenal, and she helped to create such stunning photos. I was able to see myself in a completely different light, and it felt so good. There aren't enough stars to give to these amazing women. some dear friends arranged for me to have photos taken as i begin my process in treating and fighting breast cancer. monica was extraordinary - comforting, encouraging and empowering. she helped me find & show a softness in myself that i worry will disappear through the tests and the surgeries and chemotherapy. without even seeing the final results (i saw a few shots on the camera during the day of the shoot) it's already been such a positive experience. i wish other women in my position would do this for themselves.

I scheduled my shoot with just barely enough time for my fiances birthday and couldn't be more happier with the entire process and the photos. Monica and her team made me feel BEAUTIFUL and kept me COMFORTABLE the entire time. I researched several photographers before choosing B.R, ultimately for their tasteful photos and everyones reviews here. I think every woman should treat themselves to a boudoir shoot.

Every woman should do a boudoir shoot once in her lifetime! It's about taking the time to embrace yourself and feel sexy. I contacted a few other studios, and they paled in comparison to the responsiveness and level of attention Monica provided. Right off the bat, her personality and willingness to share information makes you feel so comfortable.

I wanted to give my husband boudoir photos as a Christmas gift and after lots of research, I ended up choosing Monica and Boudoir Rouge Photography. It was such an amazing experience! The shoot itself was incredible, I was doing it for my husband and didn't realize what a thrill it would give me to actually be photographed. I had my hair and make up done and it looked amazing, but the actual photo shoot was beyond words fun. I was a little timid and nervous at first, but then I thought...go girl, this is only for you. What a wonderful experience. I decided to take boudoir photos as a gift for husband celebrating our one year anniversary. Did some research and chose Boudoir Rouge because the photos are very sexy (but not slutty), and most importantly, natural-looking and relaxed. I read other Yelp reviews and they turned out to be very true. Plus it includes makeup and hair.
Like many other people, I was very nervous and clueless as to what to expect. Monica was great and recommended getting some lingerie from Panty Raid, which had really cute stuff and helpful peoples. Ended up getting 3-4 outfits I think

At first I was having second thoughts of making an appointment with them. But Monica was so warm and accomodating when I made my inquiry and she was totally cool about it and she answers all the questions that i asked.
It took me 2 months to finally make an appointment. Because I wanted to lose a little weight but as much as I wait I gain more. Maybe, blame it to my genes or because I became too confident to my Maxim worthy body before that I didn

Boudoir Rouge Photography is worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY! Monica makes you feel glamorous, fabulous, and most importantly... comfortable!!
I shot last Sunday and they are hurrying to get my photos done so that I can get a calendar together in time for Christmas -How amazing is that?? I haven't seen my pics yet, but I am sure they will be phenomenal!
They really help you with poses and concepts and keeps you laughing (especially when housekeeping busts in) ha ha... I did my shoot at the Belamar in Manhattan Beach - It was retro, girlie and fun!!
