Services
Yes, pets must be under 50 pounds fully grown. Pet immunization and license records must be submitted prior to move in with pictures of pets. There is an additional deposit of $250 per pet and a $75 per month pet premium per pet required. A maximum of two pets allowed. Please call our Leasing Office or visit the Resident Portal to submit your request online!
We make sure our residents are taken care of by having an on-site management team, as well as 24-hour maintenance, private garages, gated access, and pool. Conveniently located on premises are your personal laundry care facilities. We offer everything you need and more! It's our goal to make coming home the best part of your day.
Proof of Renters Insurance Somerset Apartments must be listed as an additional insured/interested party. Policy must have $100,000 liability coverage and $20,000 personal property coverage. You are not required to use any particular company and may purchase insurance from any company you wish. Deans and Homer offers water overflow and plumbing backup in addition to Living Expense coverage in the standard policy.

Utterly Disappointed. This management has failed to deliver on many things that I would not want to trust anymore. There are a few things I would like to point out.
1. When we first moved into Somerset, a very helpful and responsive leasing agent, Kevin Le treated us well. He informed us that the leasing office can receive packages for us, should there be any packages require attention while we are out of the house. Turns out the management lady that is located in the office (walk in and to the right) denied all claims and said the leasing office would never take any packages. Great, I found

Honestly the worse thing about these apartments is that if you have two cars per family they only give you one space garage meaning that you have to park one car outside . With that said they turn on the sprinklers , the sprinklers wet all the cars along the sidewalk. Later on you come to find yourself paying for a detailed car wash that is not cheap at all. We made it aware to the manager and he stated that he can't do nothing about it. Well then why pay $1950 for rent if my car will be getting ruined because of your stupid sprinklers .

Here at Somerset Apartment’s in Montebello is more then just a home for us. It’s breathtaking, it’s beautiful , the landscape is a piece of art. Pet friendly, great community, and life is cool

I've lived here at somerset apartments for a little over a year now and I've loved every minute of it! The apartments are clean, beautiful, and quiet. The staff is also amazing. I've personally dealt with Ryan, Andy, and Melissa and they are all so attentive and amazing! They care about their tenants and get things done in a timely manner. I will definitely be recommending Somerset apartments to everyone I know!

Amazing staff! The entire staff always greet us with a smile and are quick to attend to any problems. The apartments are beautifully renovated. Beautiful neighborhood and I love that the grounds are kept clean. Dog friendly and workout rooms are kept open 24 hours. I would definitely recommend Somerset Apartments to Friends and Family.

Attention never go this place ..!! I found this apartments at Craigslist when I got there I see the people stay in the line to fill up applications!!?? They charged me $47 for applications and didn't say it's not refundable, the have 3 apartments to show the applicants and was empty. I have over $5000 income with excellent credit score also I have over 50 ground in the bank but after 5 days back and forth the said I'm not qualified and I need cosigner!!! They get $47 bux from every person who interested and say you not qualified. It's totally scam to make some money from people. The guy working

Love the customer service and walk through provided by Kevin Le.. Kevin Very professional, very very helpful, nice and HONEST!!! He made me feel welcomed. We walked around the whole buildings showing me the apartments available. We did a walk through the pool, gym, laundry room, garage areas and outdoor gathering areas. He would keep in touch day but day to make sure all paperwork needed was done correctly. Overall I was pleased with the customer service. He communicated really well and was very helpful with the whole leasing contract. I would recommend anyone who is interested in a place to seek

I've lived here since 2016 and I can honestly say this is one of the best places I've lived in my 13 moves. The apartments are nice -- hardwood floors, granite countertop, spacious. My only gripe was the size of the bathroom (small) and the amount of dust accumulated. That's probably because I was close to the Main Street and so many trees. Management was... interesting. Elizabeth is an intimidating woman, so she can come off a bit rough but she's actually very kind. She knew me by face because of the amount of times I was always in that office with questions. My first contact with Somerset was though a phone call with the assistant manager, Elizabeth. She invited me for a tour. This community feels like home and the landscaping was beautiful! I was graciously greeted and offered a drink by the leasing agent. The tour was convincing and the model look like a movie scene. The application process is very easy and they will help you. Somerset is an Ideal place to live in. I will be applying in the summer. Looking forward to be a new resident.

Somerset Apartments is a beautiful community! My first few steps in the community felt peaceful and ethereal. As soon as I walked to the leasing office, which is beautiful by the way, I was greeted by the leasing agent, Luigi. The tour was incredible, he showed me a model and an actual location of the available apartment. He explained the application process to qualify and the property amenities. Unfortunately, I will not be leasing due to commuting issues. This place is worth looking at!

Somerset Apartments is very scenic and beautiful community. The surrounding trees and landscaping make this property look like a garden. The office administrators are welcoming and friendly. They are very professional and will spend the time going over any questions. In my opinion they are the pinnacle of great customer service I was interested in a three-bedroom sadly they only offer one or two bedrooms. The floorplan is well design and the kitchen is family friendly.

I stopped by Somerset apartments to view their units. The first thing I noticed were the technicians going around the property and that provided me with a sense of security. The closer I got to the leasing office, the more noticed the property looked so immaculate. The landscaping is beautiful and green! People were walking their dogs happy and it made me feel at peace. The office team was great! They offered me a drink and had a business friendly conversation on what I'm looking for. I am completely sold! Somerset is the place to call home.

Somerset in Garfield are gorgeous apartments! They are a pet friendly community but don't accept bull dogs. I would of love to live here but I need to look elsewhere. The floor plans are cleverly design making the apartment look like houses. Luigi in the office was very kind and polite, greeted me and offered a drink and chocolates. He showed me around and went over the application. He is a great sales man! I really appreciated the service.

A year back I had referred one of my colleague to the community and I was entitled for a referral amount. He came here, he lived here and he left but am yet to get the referral check. Each time I am at the office She would give me a stupid that it's pending with corporate office and when I ask for the corporate contact she will say I will check with them and update me. That update never came yet (I think her desk phone

I have lived here for almost two years now. I really love and appreciate the maintenance crew. Domingo makes sure that all requests are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. The maintenance people have always been polite and considerate to my husband and me. They have gone out of their way to replace my light bulbs, fix my bedroom window and plumbing. Two thumbs up! They are know their stuff!

This review is specifically for the maintenance crew at Somerset. I was compelled to write this review after their response to my request for help get a wasp out of my bathroom. Somehow the window screen had become detached from the window and a wasp flew in when the window was open. I ran out of the bathroom (of course) and called the office immediately. They sent the awesome Guillermo to resolve it. I've lived here for a couple of years now and ANYTIME I have a maintenance request they respond seemingly immediately. That's pretty impressive for such a large complex. Anyway, super cool

My wife and I moved into Somerset Apartments about a year ago. We are very happy here. The apartment management is amazing and always helpful. The few times we have needed help with a maintenance issue the maintained staff response quickly and efficiently. I work in guest services so it's nice to see a maintenance staff that not only fixes the problem, but it's very nice and customer service oriented as well. We highly recommend Somerset Apartments.

Husband and I have been here for 3 years. Location is quiet and relatively safe. Maintenance requests are promptly attended to. They recently switched the laundry payment from moneycard to a phone app that kind of sucks (it regularly malfunctions). But overall it's a nice place. One thing to note, for dog owners know that there are stray cats everywhere and managment will not deal with them. Bc of this the grass around the area is absolutely INFESTED with fleas and our poor pups suffer for it.

I'm really surprised to see some of these negative reviews on here because I've had an amazing experience living here! The property is very well-maintained, staff is extremely responsive if you need anything, the property and unit amenties are top of the line, and the management team is really commited to modernizing the property. I'm about to move, but only because I need a third bedroom. Otherwise, I would stay. My unit is fixed with granite countertops, hardwood floors, new kitchen appliances, and crown molding. It's beautiful.

This place is ridiculous.
I have called 5 times and emailed with no responses.
Had to have my sister drive down there to the leasing office to get someone to talk to me.
Got this lady with a heavy accent and couldn't understand a word she said.
My sister told me that she kept rolling her eyes the entire conversation as I was trying to get more information about their complex since it is not mentioned online.
#1 no utilities covered
#2 1 parking spot per unit in a 2 car garage that is shared with another unit.
What terrible customer service. Give your potential tenant some more respect
