Services
Hernando Animal Clinic & Surgery Center is always looking for exceptionally talented and caring individuals dedicated to the welfare and care of animals. Our animal hospital values teamwork, honesty, and integrity. We all recognize the value of work ethic and those who stand by their word. If you're willing to work hard, be coached, and do what is needed to provide the best experience possible for our clients, we want to connect!
I love everyone at Hernando Animal Clinic. Dr. Fleming and now his daughter and son-n-law have been treating my animals for many years and I don't see me ever changing. They really care about the animals and will always help you make the best decisions for your pet. Our baby Athena has had multiple surgeries there for a rare skin condition they were able to identify and treat.
Pet's greatly benefit from regular wellness examinations or checkups through all life stages. Wellness examinations provide an excellent opportunity for us to conduct a thorough physical examination and develop a health profile for your pet. This information will help us identify medical problems and any other issues that can affect your pet's health and quality of life.
Does your best friend have bad breath? Despite what many pet owners may believe, "dog breath" is not just a nuisance - it's a sign of an unhealthy mouth. Bad breath is caused by bacteria. Over time, bacteria lead to plaque and tartar buildup on your pet's teeth. The result is bad breath, reddened gums, and other common signs of dental disease.
In our continuing efforts to offer the highest quality veterinary medicine, we are pleased to provide a wide range of surgical services for our patients. From routine surgical procedures, such as spaying and neutering, to more complex surgeries, we look forward to the opportunity to care for your pet's surgical needs.

I brought my dog in for a regular checkup and had to wait almost 2 hours to be seen. The front desk person was very unprofessional. After waiting 1.5 hours, a technician tried to get me to just let her take my dog to the back and get her shots without letting me come with her to see the vet like all the other people before me. Once I finally got to a room to see the vet, he was very knowledgeable and professional, and I was able to get my dog the vaccines she needed. I'm not sure why a vet's office would act like that, but I'm going to find a vet with kinder office staff.

I want to add more to my review can't say enough about the care Dr Johnson has given my baby who has sadly been diagnosed with cancer and found by Dr Johnson who has continued to be

A big thank you to the doctors and staff for saving my sweet dog's life! I didn't realize how much in danger she was. They were so sympathetic and kind, not only to my dog but to me as well! Highly recommend! A special shout out to Weslie, who was so sweet and caring! Thank you! God bless all.

I cannot express the gratitude I have for Dr. Bailey and the staff at Hernando Animal Clinic. My sweet pup, Max, was very ill during the recent snow storm(s) and the clinic was closed most of the week. Dr. Bailey and her husband generously provided emergency care even though the office was closed. Due to Max's condition a referral was needed to the MSU Vet School for further testing and Dr. Bailey helped me through that entire process.
I have been a patient at the clinic for 4 years and my dog has received nothing but the best care. I could not ask for a better veterinarian than Dr. Bailey or
