Services
Dr. Frazier is a 2009 graduate from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He previously served as a small and large animal veterinarian in Greenwood, MS, but is originally from Desoto County. His interests include cardiology, dermatology, and small animal surgery. He has completed several courses in small animal cardiac and abdominal ultrasonography.
Procedures done on dogs and cats are challenging for a variety of reasons, one being that they often don't want to be still while doctors and staff are trying to help the animal. They also have a level of stress that comes from being in an unfamiliar environment. Because of this, the use of anesthesia is a beneficial way to give pets the care they need.
Dental care is vital to the overall health of any pet. Dental disease can lead to health issues with the heart, liver, and kidneys, and can affect the entire body through the bloodstream. In fact, 80 percent of dogs and 70 percent of cats over three years of age suffer from some form of dental disease, making it the most common pet health issue among our pet population.
Everyone in our hospital, from our front desk staff to our technicians and, of course, our veterinarians, is well-trained to handle the emergencies that may walk through our door. We are proud to be able to offer critical care to those who need it. We also have been known to stop everything and perform emergency surgery when it is necessary.

Everyone here was amazing--from the front desk to the office manager to the tech to the vet. We are moving our dog to Swede, which is incredibly complicated, and DSAC was incredibly responsive and responsible and thorough at every step of the way!

My little Yorkie Remmy Mae has been going to this Veterinarian since I got her at age 6 months and she is now 2 years. They see her a lot because she has skin allergies and need monthly injections to give her relief. She has also had bladder surgery there and teeth pulled. Every time we go it’s a wonderful experience. Everyone, even the front desk workers, are extremely kind and really cares for all the animals. I trust them 100% to have Remmy Mae’s best interest at heart and that they really do care about her. You won’t be sorry you chose this Veterinarian Clinic!!

I don't like the fact when I took my dog to get checked, They took her to the back and did the care she needed, Was not a real serious problem. Normally it's done in front of the owner. I really would appreciate while caring for my dog I would like to see what's going on. If it's major that was ok to take my dog to the back. But this was minor. Later when I get home I noticed what was suppose to be treated was not treated . Every time I have taken her their the care was done in front of me and the proof was their. This time it was not.

I LOVE DeSoto County Animal Clinic! Everyone I have met there has always been so kind and understanding and most importantly, compassionate. They helped with 2 of my older kitties in their final time and are now taking care of two more fur babies for me. As long as I live in the Mid-South, I will ALWAYS use DeSoto County Animal Clinic ❤😻😻

Any time I take these two to the vet together, it can be a challenge. Dexter is a 7 month old goofball who wants to investigate ALL the things! The tech at the desk noticed this and allowed me and my fur babies to go into an exam room to do paperwork and wait. She had no idea how helpful that was! This is my second experience with this clinic and I’m more impressed every time.

They were extremely helpful and informative. Their attitude and attention to detail for what we wanted was spot on. They even gave us information about when to expect possible new arrivals. Would highly recommend that, if you're looking for a new pet, they are high on our list. And always, consider adopting a senior pet. They need a loving home and family too.

Both vets, Dr. Frazier and Dr. Sklar, are amazing. I wouldn't trusts my pups to anyone but them and their staff. I have one pup who is 14 yrs and old hates everyone yet he tolerates them. That's a huge compliment if you knew him. My other little guy who is a little less a year old likes everyone there. They listen to your concerns and will explain everything throughly. You couldn't ask for better in my opinion.

Would HIGHLY recommend anyone to go here.
After our cat was attacked by two dogs, we took him here with little hope of him being able to be fixed. Quickly they rushed our cat to the back and said he could be fixed. I honestly thought no way, this doctor must overestimate his skill. Was I ever wrong!! After a SIX hour surgery, Mittens was stable. He had to have a massive amount of work done. I do not personally believe many doctors would have attempted this.
More so than the doctors competence, was the entire staffs true love of animals. You can see it in everyone's eyes. They felt horrible

The staff at DeSoto County Animal Clinic always provides excellent care to our girls. Every time upon our arrival, we are greeted and treated as family members. Through the various calamities experienced by June and Olive, Dr. Frazier and Dr. Sklar have provided us with the assurance that they would do whatever it took to restore them to full health. From sticks in the mouth to toxic toads, the entire staff has always gone above and beyond the call of duty to care for our fur babies.

My cat had an open hole in his neck - from an abscess that we had no idea was there. We were so worried! Dr. Frazier was absolutely wonderful... He is definitely an animal lover and took a lot of time talking to me. He did a great job on Mr. Kitty's sutures and when I picked him up he seemed very at ease (not just due to the medication). The staff is so kind and professional! They even called me a couple of days later to check on him. We lost Dr. Gaines, our previous vet, but Steve Gaines recommended this clinic to us. We are very happy he did! Update: the sutures came out and the wound healed
